Sometimes, the most meaningful moments are the ones that were never planned.
Two young dancers arrived at the International Summer School Italy simply to take part in a summer intensive. During the week, they were invited to perform at the Final Gala.
And suddenly, a rehearsal became something more.
While they were preparing their pas de deux, Jurgita Dronina, Artistic Director of the Lithuanian National Ballet, and Tamás Solymosi, Director of the Hungarian National Ballet, were there.
No scheduled coaching, no planned session. Just two extraordinary artists who stopped, watched, and — driven by their passion for dance and for the next generation — began to share corrections, advice and experience.
For these two young dancers, currently studying at the English National Ballet School, it became an unexpected and precious opportunity.
And this is exactly what we love about our Summer School.
Throughout the week, moments like this happened naturally — with students coming from prestigious international academies as well as from smaller private schools. Different backgrounds, the same opportunity to be seen, inspired and guided.
Because sometimes a simple rehearsal can turn into a memory that stays with you for a very long time.
