So happy to finish the last day of 2023 with this excellent exhibition of
Creative artist, sophisticated works with lots of spirit, and her very interesting and complex personal collection.

A perfect full stop for my art exploration journey in 2023.

First time attending a concert in a Palladian theatre! Very impressive indeed…
Not to mention the fabulous concert of Johannes Brahms and the very good interpretation of bass-baritone Robert Holl.

Constructed in the 16th century and designed by Italian architect Andrea Palladio, this Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza was the architect’s last work. The trompe-l'œil onstage scenery was designed by to give the appearance of long streets receding to a distant horizon. It is the oldest surviving stage set still in existence since 1585.

Fascinating exhibition of Austrian artist Franz West at gallery at Paris. 🎉👏🏻

This synthesises the artist's research on form, the diversity of materials, the rendering of surfaces and color.

Went in time to see the exhibition Sam Szafran: Obsession of a painter before it ends next Monday, it’s the wisest thing I did yesterday.

Postwar and contemporary artist, he is famous of his representations of space in painting and his mastery of pastel and water colours. Apart his staircases, view of the interiors and from the windows, I love a lot his works about « feuillages » (foliage). The acclaimed pieces of « Greenhouses », where the overabundant foliage of large interior plants, seemed to overwhelm the paper, transforming it into a jungle, resistant to the classical laws of perspective, but perfectly fit to accommodate a human figure.

An exhibition that one shouldn’t miss (before 16/1/2023)!

Interesting works of Gabriel Orozco found in Hong Kong. Different aesthetic from those I saw in Galerie Chantal Crousel Paris months ago. Also my favourite artist. 🤩
