A few years ago, an Italian critic came to see one of his exhibitions in Rome.
Actually, one of the biggest exhibitions he had ever made by that point, beginning from the sizes of the canvas.
It was also the first time ever the ostrich appeared; green and potent in the middle of Piccadilly Circus.
The critic saw it and thought it was liquid fear: the same that Zygmunt Bauman, in other context, had theorized about contemporary society, terribly lost in its own mechanisms.

Fu anche la prima volta in cui lo struzzo apparve; verde, potente, al centro di Piccadilly Circus.
Il critico lo osservò e vi riconobbe la “paura liquida”: la stessa che Zygmunt Bauman, in un altro contesto, aveva teorizzato parlando della società contemporanea, terribilmente smarrita nei propri meccanismi.
