In 5 days, the Arsenale Nord will open its doors to start setting up the exhibition for 240 artists from all over the world! 🌍✈️

Bringing a project of this scale together in Venice is a massive effort. A sense of vibrant anticipation is what characterizes these days leading up to the official start of the setup.

A wall is never just a wall.
This reflection shapes the story of the artistic residency in Mozambique by Clotilde Palomino (.palomino ), winner of the Special Prize in the 20th Edition of Arte Laguna Prize.

During her days in Vilankulo, the artist did more than just paint; she opened a dialogue. Together with local children and the community, she transformed a surface into a collective work, a space for connection and wonder.

"What if this wall could become a window to the world? Some of the children had never seen a polar bear. So, I decided to bring the world to them."

In this project, art transcends the traditional concept of sustainability: it is not merely about materials, but about nurturing relationships, sharing spaces, and democratizing creativity. The children were not just spectators; they were co-creators of a mural that brings people together.

Exposed to the elements and the rhythms of daily life, the mural becomes a guardian of the hands and gestures that brought it into being—a visual map of a profound encounter, a pure joy to be cherished.

Because, as Clotilde said:"A mural might not change the world. But it can change the way a child sees the world. And sometimes, that is exactly where everything begins."

🔹Enrico Rovelli (Italy) - Showcasing a selection of his recent works.
🔹Caterina Mitrano (Italy) - Presenting her unique collection of contemporary leather design jewelry.
🔹 CROSSING BOUNDARIES – A fascinating dialogue between three distinct artistic languages, featuring works by Alexandra Kapogianni-Beth, Jules Vissers, and Ramona Russu.
🔹 La Cotorra Gallery (Spain) – Presenting works by Salomeya Bauer, Anastasia Saut, and Eva Alvor.
🔹 AQVART (curated by Margherita Blonska-Ciardi) – A rich selection featuring works by Piotr Bubak, Irena Gapkovska, Widimer Tassinari, Stephanie Holznecht, Alma Sheik, Michal Avrech, Antonino Puliafico, Kinga Lapot Dzierwa, and Karin Monschauer.

Congratulations to Daniela Astone for winning first prize in the oil painting Award! 🎨 Second prize for the oil painting award goes to Samanta Abugauch, and Hong Li takes home the third prize for painting in any medium!
