While waiting for Art Biennale 2026, Zuecca Project brings you back in time and shows you some of its highlights of the pasts Biennale editions!

1. MARINA ABRAMOVIC - THE KITCHEN, 13.05 – 26.11.2017
Zuecca Projects, in collaboration with Lisson Gallery, presented a solo exhibition of work by leading international artist Marina Abramovic, from the artist’s “The Kitchen“ series.

2. Jonas Mekas - THE INTERNET SAGA, 7.05 - 22.08.2015
The Internet Saga was the only project dedicated to art on the web to be inaugurated on the occasion of the 56th Venice Art Biennial. The main protagonist was the independent cinema legend Jonas Mekas.
Curated by the Francesco Urbano Ragazzi duo and in collaboration with Zuecca Projects, the Internet Saga
was hosted at Palazzo Foscari Contarini, a sixteenthcentury noble residence overlooking the Grand Canal, converted in a Burger King restaurant.

3. Ai Weiwei - S.A.C.R.E.D., 29.05 – 15.09.2013
As a Collateral Event of the 55th International Art Exhibition – la Biennale di Venezia, Zuecca Projects presented an exhibition of Ai Weiwei: S.A.C.R.E.D, an extraordinary work addressing his April 2011 arrest by the Chinese government. This was the first time the artist has directly responded to his incarceration through a work in a public exhibition.

Hope you enjoyed this Throwback! But now let’s just go on with the present and focus on the 61st International Art Exhibition - la Biennale di Venezia

You are invited to the opening of "Inside the Taboo", the new by Uruguayan artist Aldo Kodac, at Palazzo Cavallerini Lazzaroni, . The exhibition opens on October 9 at 6pm, and will run until November 9, 2025.

Kodac conceives time as a continuous flow, where past, present, and future coexist and overlap. His large canvases, composed of countless dots, extend this eternal present and express a temporal stratification that translates, through layered forms, into a complex visual structure.
