Among the best exhibitions of , "Screen Melancholy: Li Yi-Fan" is the project selected to represent Taiwan as an official Collateral Event of La Biennale di Venezia.

The key element of the show, is undoubtedly the video by Li Yi-Fan: an incredibly rich work, both visually and in terms of the themes it explores.

As the curator Raphael Fonseca says, quoting Hippocrates of Kos: “Vita brevis, ars longa“, life is short, knowledge long. Indeed, Li Yi-Fan’s work is so complex and multi-layered that it allows for a vast array of possible readings, interpretations, and reflections.

traverses the skies of Venice. It is one of the official Collateral Events of the , an installation conceived by artist Anna Kamyshan.

In order to see it, one must look up: the installation floats in the air, appearing almost weightless.
This is the work’s first, fundamental ingredient: the unexpected, perhaps even the seemingly impossible, confronts us, leaving us open-mouthed.

Biennale Arte 2026 opens to the public today in Venice, after an intense week of previews, events and public debates. "In Minor Keys" by Koyo Kouoh spreads among Giardini, Arsenale and each corner of the city. "In Minor Keys" is the title chosen by for the 61st International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia, with 111 artists featured in the Central Pavilions, 99 National Pavilions and the 31 official Collateral Events.

The 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, In Minor Keys by Koyo Kouoh, will run from Saturday 9 May to Sunday 22 November 2026 at the Giardini, the Arsenale and in various locations around Venice. The pre-opening will take place on May 6, 7, and 8.
