🇮🇹 Il 30 ottobre 1931 nasceva Giancarlo Ligabue, l’uomo che ha raccolto l’eredità di un imprenditore illuminato, l’ha fatta crescere con una visione altrettanto lungimirante e versatile e ha arricchito di esperienze uniche la sua vita e quella di altre persone grazie al Centro Studi Ricerche, che ha fortemente voluto e sostenuto.
Con esso ha costruito un ponte tra passato e presente, tra Arte e Uomo, tra uomini distanti nello spazio e nel tempo.
Questa foto racchiude un grande significato umano oltre che culturale, lo ritrae con un pigmeo in Papua, ex Irian Jaya (Nuova Guinea occidentale) appartenente a un gruppo etnico di cui in seguito non si è trovata più traccia e di conseguenza il materiale raccolto all’epoca della ricerca è divenuto documento storico.

🇬🇧 On October 30, 1931 Giancarlo Ligabue was born, a man who was able to collect the legacy of an enlightened entrepreneur, has made it grow with an equally farsighted and versatile vision and has enriched his and other people’s life with unique experiences thanks to the Research and Study Center he strongly wanted and supported.
With it, he built a bridge between past and present, between Art and Man, between men distant in space and time.
This picture holds a great human as well as cultural meaning, it portrays Giancarlo with a Pygmy in Papua, formerly Irian Jaya (Western New Guinea) belonging to an ethnic group of which no trace was found later, consequently the materials collected at the time of this research has become a historical document.
