Spazio Punch is art, fashion, publishing, architecture and contemporaneity, since 2011. A non-profit organization on the Giudecca island, in a former warehouse of spirits and beer, Spazio Punch investigates plans and organizes exhibitions, cultural events and meetings.

Presented by with , “Darkness Visible: The Long Shadow of Dictatorship” marks the 50th anniversary of the coup that led to Argentina’s last military dictatorship. Featuring 18 artists and collectives from the 1970s to today, the exhibition reflects on censorship, violence, forced disappearance, memory, and human rights. It reclaims the museum as a civic space and art as a way to confront history, resist State terror, and keep memory alive. The title, drawn from Milton’s Paradise Lost, evokes the power of art to make visible what was hidden, censored, and still painfully present.

Presentata da con , “Darkness Visible: The Long Shadow of Dictatorship” si colloca in occasione del 50° anniversario del colpo di Stato che diede avvio all’ultima dittatura militare argentina. Con 18 artisti e collettivi dagli anni Settanta a oggi, la mostra riflette su censura, violenza, sparizioni forzate, memoria e diritti umano, proponendo il museo come spazio civico e l’arte come strumento per confrontarsi con la storia, opporsi al terrore di Stato e mantenere viva la memoria. Il titolo, tratto dal Paradiso perduto di Milton, richiama il potere dell’arte di rendere visibile ciò che è stato nascosto, censurato e che resta dolorosamente presente.

Artista in-house dell’etichetta Presto!? di Lorenzo Senni, Marco Farina – aka – si muove tra melodie armoniche familiari e takeover timbrici imprevedibili e fuori controllo. Dopo l’uscita del suo primo disco Ten Minutes to Midnight, ha ampliato la propria palette sonora con Cco2, un patchwork di confini high-speed, nostalgia caotica ed euforia. Si è esibito live al MACRO Museo di Roma, alla Triennale Milano, Threes Productions, Club2Club, Ääniwalli Helsinki, M**O Festival Paris, Endless Bazaar Switzerland, Signal Festival Prague e Fest Anca, SK.
yny.y è il progetto live di Yanyan W., artista sonora e visiva nata nel Sichuan e attualmente basata nel Nord Italia. Co-fondatrice di Self Repair, la sua pratica musicale si concentra sul riuso di oggetti trovati come fonti sonore, combinati con dispositivi hardware semi-modulari nello spettro sonoro di texture terrestri.

17-1 – aka – è uno dei molti moniker di E.C., co-fondatore di Self Repair. Ispirato agli aspetti fenomenologici della ricerca sul suono e alle imperfezioni della performance dal vivo, 17-1 si concentra su lavori site-specific, con una musica modellata dallo spazio in cui viene eseguita.

In occasione del finissage, l’artista e performer .__pel abiterà Spazio Punch con Million Dollar Smile #4, una performance rage-based che celebra il disgusto verso un’icona che incarna la misoginia nella cultura pop italiana. Mio$mile #4 gioca con l’idea del resto e del reperto, riportando in scena tacchi usurati dal lavoro, una foto usurata dagli sputi, ballando e strisciando nella stanza di pietra di Spazio Punch. In stretta collaborazione con la stylist .rassic e con l’artista e curatrice .akkiana, la performance culmina con la lettura della lettera a Berlusconi intitolata «Caro, beh, non proprio caro Silvio». Durante lo sviluppo del lavoro, Berlusconi è venuto a mancare.

On the occasion of the exhibition’s finissage, artist and performer .__pel will inhabit Spazio Punch with Million Dollar Smile #4, a rage-driven performance that channels disgust toward a pop culture icon emblematic of misogyny in Italy. Mio$mile #4 engages with the idea of the leftover and the relic, reactivating high heels worn down by labor and a photograph marked by repeated acts of spitting, as the performer dances and drags herself across the stone room of Spazio Punch.
Developed in close collaboration with stylist .rassic and artist-curator .akkiana, the performance culminates in the reading of a letter addressed to Silvio Berlusconi, titled “Dear—well, not quite dear—Silvio.” During its development, Berlusconi passed away.

What happens when photography is approached as a network of relations? What if, rather than searching the image for the dominant mark of a single gaze, we began to notice what moves through it — what lingers at its edges and what, by exceeding it, also helps bring it into being?

“Soft Systems. Forme di coesistenza fotografica” unfolds from this tension through the imaginaries and visual narratives of the invited artists. Seen up close, the photographs move beyond the idea of the instant: they stretch into a lived duration, becoming shared time, conversation and collaboration — a process of negotiation shaped by care, hesitation and small, tacit agreements.

Oggi, 24 marzo, in Argentina si celebra la Giornata Nazionale della Memoria per la Verità e la Giustizia.

In occasione dei 50 anni dal colpo di Stato che diede inizio all’ultima dittatura militare (1976–1983) — durante la quale fu attuata una politica sistematica di censura, tortura, assassinio e sparizione forzata di persone — e nella convinzione che non sia possibile costruire un futuro migliore senza una piena consapevolezza della storia, il e presentano, in concomitanza con la Biennale di Venezia, “Darkness Visible: The Long Shadow of Dictatorship”.

La mostra, visitabile dal 5 maggio al 22 novembre 2026, invita a riflettere sulla gravità della violenza come forma di terrorismo di Stato attraverso opere che spaziano dagli anni Settanta fino a oggi.

Argentina marks the National Day of Memory for Truth and Justice on 24 March.

This year, fifty years on from the coup that initiated the country’s last military dictatorship (1976–1983) — a regime responsible for widespread censorship, torture, killings, and enforced disappearances — and present “Darkness Visible: The Long Shadow of Dictatorship” as part of the Venice Biennale. The project is rooted in the understanding that reckoning with history is essential to shaping a more just future.

On view from 5 May to 22 November 2026, the exhibition brings together works spanning from the 1970s to today, addressing the legacy and ongoing impact of state violence.

Yanyan W. è un’artista sonora e visiva nata nel Sichuan e attualmente basata nel Nord Italia. La sua pratica si muove tra performance sperimentale e ricerca visiva, sviluppando un linguaggio incentrato su densità, distorsione e tensione ritmica. Con il nome YYDJ estende la propria ricerca su materia, tempo e struttura, lavorando con accumulo, rottura e tensione come forze compositive. È co-fondatrice di Self Repair. Il suo lavoro è stato presentato in Europa, Asia e Nord America, tra cui NTS Radio, The Lot Radio, OIL (Shenzhen), Rash (New York), Kwia (Berlino) e HUNDEBISS (Milano).

Yanyan W. is a sound and visual artist born in Sichuan and currently based in Northern Italy. Her practice moves between experimental performance and visual research, developing a language centered on density, distortion, and rhythmic tension. Performing as YYDJ, she extends this research into material, time, and structure, working with accumulation, rupture, and tension as compositional forces. She is the co-founder of Self Repair. Her work has been presented across Europe, Asia, and North America, including NTS Radio, The Lot Radio, OIL (Shenzhen), Rash (New York), Kwia (Berlin), and HUNDEBISS (Milan).
