🇬🇧 After 22 years, The Wings of Venice shine once again thanks to Forel S.p.A., which has chosen to exhibit this extraordinary installation on the occasion of its 50th anniversary.
The Wings of Venice were officially inaugurated on May 9th, 2004, with their first exhibition at the Gate of Venice, Punta della Dogana: the symbolic place where, during the time of the Serenissima Republic, all people and goods were required to pass before entering the city.
Conceived by , the project featured a large metal structure supporting approximately 400 Murano glass feathers, ranging from 70 to 300 cm in height, created by the master glassmaker Pino Signoretto with the support of several historic glassmaking workshops from the island of Murano.
Over the years, the installation was also exhibited at , becoming a symbol of Murano’s artistic creativity and excellence. Today, the artwork can once again be admired in Vallio di Roncade, at the headquarters of , a leading company in the production of machinery for flat glass and insulated glass
