muonā studio muonā studio dar jauna, bet drąsiai žengianti į naujus medžioklės plotus.
Po trijų VR filmų ir daugybės kūrybinių projektų su kino ir žaidimų studijomis, nusprendėme:
laikas sukurti kažką linksmo, paprasto ir savito.

O kas toliau? Aišku — žaidimas!

Mūsų studiją visada traukė istorija ir etnokultūra, todėl bendradarbiavimas su Lietuvos etnografijos muziejus buvo natūralus žingsnis.
Sukurti žaidimą, kuris būtų smagus, edukacinis ir aiškus visiems, buvo iššūkis – bet kartu mums pavyko!

Didelis ačiū muziejaus komandai už entuziazmą ir kantrybę.
Ačiū visai Muona komandai – menininkams, Unreal ungine stebukladariams iš Kauno ir visiems, kurie į šį projektą sudėjo širdį.

Ypatingas ačiū Aistė Ašmontaitė , projekto Meno vadovei ir iliustratorei – ji sukūrė žaidimo pasaulį ir jaukų, atpažįstamą stilių.

We’re proud to announce that Muona Studio is heading back to Venice Film Festival for the second year in a row!

This time with something incredibly close to our hearts – our VR experience Pasaulių sutvėrimas (The Creation of the Worlds) has been selected for the Venice Immersive Competition at the prestigious 2025 Venice International Film Festival!

We poured everything into this project – our time, our vision, our love for storytelling and visual art. And now it’s about to premiere in Venice, August 27 – September 6.

Thank you to our brilliant team and everyone who walked this path with us!

Muona Studio is proud to announce that one of our long-held dreams is slowly taking shape.

Our company was born in Klaipėda, the lone Lithuanian harbor, where the sea meets the sky and the wind carries stories. A lighthouse stood there, a symbol of resilience, of warning and welcome. It was always our dream to tell its story—to bring to life the people who lived beneath its light, who watched the waves and waited.

With the support of the Lithuanian Cinema Center, we have secured funding to develop this film. Producer Justė Michailinaitė joins forces with Muona Studio’s directors to create something true, something lasting.

Darkness, Light. Darkness, Light..
Each chasing the other, like the beam of a lighthouse cutting through the night.

The long-awaited national premiere of "Creation of the Worlds" is here! 🎬
A VR experience like no other, inspired by M.K. Čiurlionis' artworks and brought to life by acclaimed Directors Kristina Buožytė and Vitalijus Žukas.
muonā studio had the honor of handling art direction and production for this incredible project. Thousands and thousands of work hours went into making it a reality!
👏 None of this would have been possible without the incredible dedication and hard work of our team, which was just one part of the larger collective effort. We couldn't have reached this milestone without the support of each and every member.

BEEP BEEP BEEP! VENICE IS CALLING!! 📣

The film PLAY LIFE – at the prestigious Venice Film Festival!

We are thrilled to announce that the virtual reality film PLAY LIFE has been selected for the program of the Venice International Film Festival, organized by La Biennale di Venezia!

In the festival’s Extended Reality “Immersive” category, PLAY LIFE will not only represent Lithuania but also compete for the prestigious “Golden Lion” award.

Congratulations and thanks to the creator of the artwork and story Algis Krisciunas, directors Vilius Petrauskas, Donatas Ulvydas, Mantas Pronckus, and Zilvinas Naujokas, composer Darius Žičkus Music, sound designer Arturas Pugaciauskas, VR cinema spaces Hexa Cinema, and of course - the entire muonā studio TEAM! 👏

Yesterday, our team was honored to give a speech for the #35 GameDev Meetup at Klaipėdos kultūros fabrikas! It was an incredible evening filled with inspiration and networking with fellow game and VR creators 🚀

Our colleague, Simonas Budginas, delivered an insightful presentation titled “3D Generalist Profession - Under the Hood.” He explored the essential skills required to be a successful 3D generalist and shared what it takes to create a VR film, highlighting our studio’s debut project, “PLAY LIFE.”

Special thanks to Lietuvos žaidimų kūrėjų asociacija for creating such a fantastic series of events - we hope to attend more of these in the future! 🎮
