There are pieces that feel like a breath of fresh air — like stepping into a forest on the first morning of summer, just after the mist has lifted and everything feels cool, quiet, and newly washed. Anastasiia Leliuk’s sculpture After a Foggy Morning carries that same feeling.

Its textured papier-mâché surface recalls dense summer greenery, with flashes of bright red appearing against deep green and the soft glimmer of pearls woven into the composition. There is no forced narrative here, no fixed meaning to decode — just the feeling of something alive, fresh, and quietly renewing.

This is an artwork that can bring a sense of lightness and calm into a space.

The sculpture and other works by Anastasiia Leliuk are available on Subjektiv.

A magazine becomes worth owning when its content can shift the way you see.

Behind every printed word in the first issue of Subjektiv is a great deal of work. Kateryna turns through the pages that she and the team refined with care — down to the smallest visual detail and every comma. Inside are essays and photo stories shaped by philosophical depth, alongside images that stay with you long after you close the issue.

This is not fast content made for scrolling. It is a carefully composed 104-page edition of thought, visual pleasure, and aesthetics.

Art becomes part of your life not simply when it exists beside you, but when you begin an intellectual dialogue with it.

Some words must be spoken to outline a new world and to transform ideas into reality.
Such is the nature of our Subjektiv Manifesto.

We feel compelled to make this statement because, without it, the world will remain exactly as it is. And we want to change it.
We publish our manifesto because, in the beginning, was the Word.

The horse, emerging from deep darkness, is captured in a sharp, almost convulsive leap. In Almost Red Horse, Anna Veriki conveys an intense sense of inner tension. The rich, blood-like hue and concealed gaze shift the focus from external form to pure impulse — the primal energy of a body gathering all its strength to move through complete darkness. It speaks to the raw nerve and anxiety of the present, where every movement becomes an act of vital force.

The artwork is available on Subjektiv.

Painting as the aesthetics of a dream, where forms become metaphors and pastel colours create a quiet, almost intangible atmosphere.

Alina Anokhina reveals the meanings behind her works — from early self-portraits to complex conceptual canvases reflecting on the events in Ukraine.

The Subjektiv team is based in different parts of Ukraine, which makes every in-person meeting especially valuable — and, as always, very productive.

We always have plenty of ideas in progress, and sometimes coming together in the same space is exactly what helps bring them into sharper focus.

We’re happy to share that Subjektiv is currently developing in several directions we have already announced:
• Platform improvements. We have changed so much already that we can hardly believe it ourselves. The team is constantly working on improving the user experience, reducing bugs, and refining the overall platform flow — so that interacting with Subjektiv becomes even smoother and more intuitive.
• Secondary Market. We are opening the door to something much broader than a marketplace: a space for owners, collectors, and those who want to give unique objects a new life.
• Subjektiv Magazine. The second issue is already in progress. Have you got your copy of the first one yet? 🙂Link in bio!

Thanks for the warm atmosphere and comfortable space for our working meetings.

The image of Aurora (“SX 03 Model Aurora”) reflects on a life reduced to a single gesture: revealing light. It speaks to how easily human existence can be defined by function, turning us into frozen artifacts of our own routines.

Balancing between the aesthetics of perfection and the depth of a mythical gesture, Kryvych’s painting is available on the Subjektiv platform.

The video from Kryvych’s exhibition is now available on the Subjektiv YouTube channel.

“Dressing in one’s own shadows. The day is not needed.”

As part of the series “The Materiality of Being,” Bohdana Tkach deconstructs corporality, transforming it into a tool for exploring memory. For Subjektiv Magazine, this visual experience is part of a broader narrative.

Alongside photo essays, we publish expert articles and philosophical reflections that offer a critical perspective on contemporary socio-cultural processes. We reject the role of a passive observer in favor of a deep intellectual engagement with the subject.

Art transcends the boundaries of galleries, becoming a part of your private library and daily rhythm.

Today, we’re speaking with Orçun Beslen, an interdisciplinary artist from Turkey. His work unfolds as a raw negotiation with materials — from Istanbul’s street posters to fragile found objects.

Orçun is drawn to the tension of the frame: the way it can protect an image, but also confine it. For him, the frame becomes a vital part of the work’s psychological distance. He rarely begins with a fixed image; instead, he works through the material itself, allowing traces of the process to remain visible. Each work begins with a monochrome foundation, later interrupted by sudden, deliberate touches of color.
