A few questions. Many perspectives.

We asked some of the directors in competition to share their thoughts — on animation, process, and the stories behind their films.

Different voices, different approaches, one shared language: moving images, frame by frame.

Watch the reel.

📍 SeM Days 2

Sem asked first.

A Spritz With Peter Lord.

Three quick questions.
One standing spritz.

We met Peter Lord between festival moments for a fast exchange on storytelling, stop motion and a lifetime spent moving worlds frame by frame.

Short answers, great timing, legendary company.

Watch the reel.

📍 SeM Days 2

Sem was starstrucked.

21/04/2026

Behind every frame, there was a team.

SeM Days 2 was made possible by the people who worked with care, energy and dedication through every moment of the festival.

From what was visible to what happened quietly behind the scenes, every detail existed thanks to a collective effort.

To our staff, volunteers and collaborators: thank you for your time, commitment and passion.

From our Artistic Directors Michelangelo Morello and Andrea Viggiano, to our Logistics Director Marco Salvalaio. From our Press Office to our Communication Team.

This edition was build together.

Sem knows who made it happen.

Final day, still in motion.

The last day of SeM Days 2 brought one more round of films, encounters, conversations and shared moments before the closing frame.

Five days of animation, ideas and people meeting in the same space — now turning into memories, connections and what comes next.

Thank you for being part of it.

This was the last day.
Not the last movement.

📍 M9 – Museo del ’900

Sem is already thinking about the next edition.

The festival dump we wanted to keep.

Between screenings, panels, workshops, waiting rooms, quick conversations and moments that happened in between.

SeM Days 2 was also this: details, faces, movement, and everything that doesn’t fit inside the official program.

Some memories stay sharper than others.

Here are a few of them.

📍 M9 – Museo del ’900

Sem was everywhere.

The special Jury Award goes to The Happy Pig Brand by Léo Bournas Milazzo

Not A Spritz With Jean-François Le Corre.

No spritz this time.
He chose white w**e.

We caught Jean-François Le Corre for three quick questions on producing animation, European collaboration and how ideas move across borders.

Short answers, sharp insights, different aperitivo.

Watch the reel.

📍 SeM Days 2

Sem approves his good taste.

19/04/2026

A not Spritz With Heinrich Sabl.

No spritz this time.
Still three quick questions.

We met Heinrich Sabl for a fast exchange on Memory Hotel, long creative journeys and the patience behind every frame.

Short answers, deep process, zero aperitivo.

Watch the reel.

📍 SeM Days 2

Sem respected the choice not to drink.
