Ok, probabilmente non hai mai visto un basso elettrico coperto da un calzino a righe fino al capotasto 🧦
Ma soprattutto non hai mai visto un basso elettrico suonato in questo modo… La mano dominante è destra, ma qui si suona al contrario.
È tutto sottosopra, come in “Alice attraverso lo specchio”.
Caldo estivo e passamontagna, luci al neon in una corte del ‘700, onde elettriche nell’aria immobile ⚡️ Sono tutte cose incongrue, un po’ sghembe.
E forse (anzi, senza forse) è proprio qui che sta la vera bellezza: nelle cose un po’ storte e un po’ “weird”, nelle linee oblique e non in quelle dritte, nella stranezza e non nello standard.
Per cercarla, quella bellezza, basta fare come Alice: attraversare lo specchio, e non avere paura di avventurarsi in un mondo sottosopra 🙃

But above all, you’ve never seen an electric bass played this way… The dominant hand is the right hand, but here the bass gets played the other way around.
Everything’s upside down, just like in “Through the Looking-Glass.”
Summer heat and a balaclava, neon lights in an 18th-century courtyard, electric waves in the still air ⚡️ They’re all incongruous, a little off-kilter.
And perhaps (actually, without a doubt) this is precisely where true beauty lies: in things that are a little off and a little “weird,” in the slanted lines rather than the straight ones, in the quirkyness rather than the norm.
To find that beauty, just do what Alice did: step through the looking glass, and don't be afraid to enter an upside-down world 🙃
