Meet the second girl of Snapshots — she carries herself like someone who knows exactly where she's going. No rush, no noise. Just quiet certainty, and a bag that holds everything she needs.
In this series I want to draw all kinds of women — the ones I see at the market, on the tram, at the café. Women who are simply themselves, unhurried and whole.

Ecco la seconda ragazza di Istantanee — si porta addosso la certezza di chi sa già dove sta andando. Nessuna fretta, nessun rumore. Solo una quiete tutta sua, e una borsa che contiene tutto ciò che le serve.
In questa serie voglio disegnare ogni tipo di donna — quelle che vedo al mercato, sul tram, al bar. Donne che sono semplicemente se stesse, senza fretta, complete.

Snapshots / Istantanee is a new open edition series: everyday girls, caught in a moment of light. Not posed, not perfect. Just a quiet instant, painted instead of photographed.
This is the first one. A girl with a camera, looking at the world through a lens — while I looked at her through a brush.

C’è una magia silenziosa nello scrivere a mano.
Il suono leggero della penna sulla carta, la pausa tra un pensiero e l’altro, la sensazione di tenere tra le mani le proprie parole mentre prendono forma.

the light feels softer, the air carries a quiet promise,
and even the smallest gestures turn into gentle rituals.
A pie slowly coming together,
jam tucked between strips of dough,
flour on the table, a window open to blossoms in bloom.
In moments like these, cooking feels like care.
A way of being present.
A way of making something not just for yourself,
but to share with someone, later on.
A soft reminder that beauty lives right here—
in simple things, made slowly, with love.

C’è qualcosa nelle mattine di primavera…
la luce è più morbida, l’aria porta una promessa silenziosa,
e anche i gesti più piccoli diventano rituali gentili.
Una crostata che prende forma piano,
la marmellata tra le strisce di pasta,
