Founded in 1999 in Torino, from the very beginning the gallery has distinguished itself for the courageous and significant exhibition projects produced with its artists, crossing all artistic languages with a particular attention devoted to conceptual practices and the radical nature of research. Over the years, the program has maintained a constant evolution and growth, accompanied by migration to 8 different spaces in the city which - responding from time to time to different architectural and design needs - left the artists free to create for each new project a different place. Since 2013 the center of its activities has been the area of Via Mottalciata 10/B, in the northern side of Turin, a flexible and generous space that is completed in September 2020 with an open air area of 1,000 square meters, a garden just a few steps away. Alongside the organisation of exhibitions in its spaces and the participation in major international fairs, the gallery collaborates with the most important Italian and international institutions, promoting the publication of books, supporting and contributing to the production of works and projects of its own artists.

is part of the exhibition "In the Air", on view at Heidelberger Kunstverein until 9th August 2026.

This exhibition explores the motif of flying animals as symbolic spaces of resonance between observations of nature and social analysis. Rather than focusing on the depiction of birds themselves, the exhibition considers their function as a canvas for questions of power, care, violence, and coexistence. The assembled video, sculpture, photography, and installation works address topics such as animal husbandry, ecological interdependencies, social rituals, and the mechanisms of control and appropriation.

is taking part in "Manifesta 16 Ruhr", presenting a newly commissioned work that enters the space of St. Marien.

It was made in response to what is already there: the architecture, the installed artworks and the atmosphere that has taken shape over time. Rather than arriving as a fixed object, Dodge’s work develops in relation to its environment, the surrounding industry, what is made around us and what falls off of us while we are busy living.

Jason Dodge's practice bridges the gap between order and chaos, and between chaos and order, striking the perfect balance where ordinary becomes brilliant. Through these shifts and by playing with ordinary objects, his installations make tangible what the concept of tuning entails: the art of reading the language of the universe and turning the mundane into something exceptional.

Introducing 's new book "MUSEUMS OF TEARS" 📖

Conceived as both a publication and an autonomous artwork, MUSEUMS OF TEARS emerges from the exhibition of the same name presented at Museo Correr between April and November 2024 — one of Francesco Vezzoli’s most ambitious investigations into the emotional, theatrical and political dimensions of the museum space.
Developed in close dialogue with Donatien Grau, Head of Contemporary Programmes at the Musée du Louvre, the project brought together historical works from the Museo Correr alongside recent and newly commissioned works by Vezzoli, creating an unpredictable and seductive conversation between antiquity, sentiment and cinematic illusion.

MUSEUM OF TEARS is co-published by Archivorum in collaboration with Lenz Press.

OPENING WITH PERFORMANCE |
"I Have Imagined Things Only True Believers Can See"
10 - 27 June 2026
Garden of Palazzo Bentivoglio
Bologna

Opening with performance: 10 June 2026, 9.30 pm

In the garden of Palazzo Bentivoglio, Mario García Torres’s new work appears as a presence that is both tangible and evanescent: a fountain that transforms water into steam. The title itself, "I Have Imagined Things Only True Believers Can See" (2026), evokes a dimension suspended between matter and imagination, between what appears and what remains hidden, to be sought beneath the surface. It is precisely in this threshold, between the visible and the invisible, between reality and narrative, that the artist’s entire practice is situated.

The public presentation of "I Have Imagined Things Only True Believers Can See" will be accompanied, on June 10 at 9:30 p.m., by the artist’s performance "Five Feet High and Rising", conceived as the ideal first activation of the work. Presented at the 13th Sharjah Biennial in 2017 and at the C3A in Córdoba in 2022, the performance is a lecture-DJ set that traces a cultural history of rivers as a meeting place between different civilizations and subjectivities.
