Valeria Ceregini

Valeria Ceregini is an Italian art historian and curator based in Dublin and Turin working with international artists across all disciplines.

She focuses on facilitating and supporting artists at any stage of their career in commissioning and delivering projects. She studied Semiotics at the University of Turin and Contemporary Art at the University of Genoa, Italy. Also, she attended the Postgraduate Diploma in Cultural Studies.

A wonderful afternoon of inspiring conversations and creative exchange at Balbriggan Library!

A heartfelt thank you to Louis Haugh, Tadhg Kinsella and Dr Francesco Pennacchio for sharing their practices and exploring how art can deepen our relationship with ecology, landscape and community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, to Cormac McDonagh from Creative Places Balbriggan for his support, and to Balbriggan Library for hosting us.

Delighted to have launched Evolving Landscapes: Collective Visions for a Sustainable Future, a public programme I developed and curated for Creative Places Balbriggan.

I’m delighted to have delivered to the Linenhall, Castlebar a few professional development workshops.

From my experience as a curator, creative producer, and mentor these workshops aim to focus on how to build, structure and strengthen your profile, thinking strategically about the way you present your work and how you can improve your confidence.

Focused on clarity, strategy and professional presentation, I'm happy to offer a space to reflect on how artists can express their practice while remaining adaptable to different contexts.

Looking forward to meeting the artists again soon. It was lovely spending the days working together on how best to show your work, tell your story and shape your future.

Yesterday we opened the brand new Ultra exhibition at Palazzo Provana as part of the Diffusissima Festival in Turin.

It was a wonderful success, beautifully received and full of energy. Thank you to everyone who joined us to support the artists and celebrate this new chapter.

A heartfelt thanks to Martina O’Connor and Thomas Brezing for being part of this fresh and vibrant festival, and for your inspiring works.

✨ Evolving Landscapes at Ardgillan Castle (19 Sept – 12 Oct) ✨

This show brings together the practices of Laura Skehan, Tadhg Kinsella, and Louis Haugh, who each explore how landscapes shift physically, politically, and emotionally in the face of climate and humanitarian emergency. 🫂

Through sculpture, sound, and moving image, the exhibition invites us to slow down, listen, and reflect on our place within fragile ecologies.

Don’t miss the chance to experience these immersive and thought-provoking works in such a unique setting!
