The keywords for Chamoisic were: territory, surrealism, dream. And elephants.
1. Because it’s a surreal and experimental festival set high in the mountains, in one of the very few municipalities where car traffic is completely forbidden, with the motto “Altra Musica in Alta Quota.”
2. The headliners were Elephant 9 (a true heavyweight).
A distinctly ’70s-marked identity, built and consistently applied across every festival touchpoint, from the logo to the photographic direction. The typeface used is PP Right Serif by .pangram: vintage vibes with a modern soul. The orange, in contrast to previous editions, was meant to evoke the light of a high-altitude sunset.
The first step was to codify the idea of an animal like the elephant within a natural context it doesn’t belong to, an impossible dialogue on an astral plane.
We turned to Dalí for inspiration.
