Escape to create at one of our art retreats. Now planning retreats for 2025 and 2026! Does this sound like you? Grit my teeth and all that. Exhausted even.

Visual artists, illustrators, textile artists, photographers, digital artists, crafters, makers, writers, musicians, and performers are welcome! You’re smart and funny and your friends and family would even say you’re “successful”. You’ve got all the trappings of someone successful; good job, money in the bank, supportive family and friends, a body of work that you are proud of, but, you don’t fee

l like someone who’s got it together.

“I just need to try a little harder”, you think. “Just need to push through. My next great idea is just around the corner.”

In the meantime though, you’re tired. Not “I’ve just run a marathon” tired, but “if I have to wake up one more morning and have the exact same day that I’ve been living every day for the past year I will snap” kind of tired. You feel stagnant, listless, a little frayed around the edges, and uninspired. You need a spark to reignite your creative ambitions and desires, you need a Catalyst.

We want to help artists affected by the California fires and we know our network of artists is strong! Please follow CERFplus to learn about their emergency grant opportunities and share this link with those you know who may have suffered losses.

As disaster response and other agencies strive to control the wildfires and help residents of California, CERF+ is reaching out to artists and arts organizations in affected communities to provide emergency relief and useful recovery resources.
