Yesterday, we lost Juan Tamariz.
A true legend who completely revolutionized the world of modern magic — not only through his techniques and ideas, but above all through his unique way of understanding and living magic.
I was lucky enough to meet him and have the chance to talk with him. One thing immediately struck me: we were discussing a very simple magic trick, and in his face I could see the same excitement, curiosity, and wonder of a child.
I believe that was one of his greatest lessons: never lose the ability to be amazed.
Thank you, Juan, for everything you gave to magic and to all of us magicians.
Your magic will live on every time someone, faced with a simple trick, looks at the world again through the eyes of a child. ❤️
