The 'Merkatu' - Testa Dell'Acqua's monthly famers market - is not just a meeting point for the community and beyond, but above all aims to give local residents the chance to shop directly from producers.

Producers from the Iblei area are at the heart of Merkatu. All those taking part share an approach based on sustainable agriculture, respect for the land, and the quality of their products.

Join us on tonight, Sunday July 19, from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM for our Flea & Swap Market and Plant Exchange at Meraki Testa Dell'Acqua (Noto).

Give your unwanted items a second life and discover hidden treasures. Empty your wardrobes, garages, and storage rooms and bring along anything that deserves a new home. Books, clothes, furniture, jewellery, vinyl records, plants, pots, small household appliances – almost anything is welcome!

What may no longer be useful to one person could become someone else's treasure. Let's support a circular economy, reduce waste, and enjoy an evening of sharing and community.

Food will be available from Manicò, with craft beers by Alveria Brewery.

What an amazing start to the Meraki Monday Social Club!
The first two editions have been filled with great conversations, music, and wonderful people coming together.

Beautiful live music from Francesco Nava (guitar & vocals) set the mood before sunset, followed by Dusty Dischi and Jeff Willis (aka Gieffe), who provided the perfect soundtrack into the evening.

A big thank you to Carlo Giardina for leading "Riflessioni Resistenti", sharing powerful reflections on the experience of the Global Sumud Flotilla.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made these first Mondays so special.

Every Monday 5:30 PM – 10:30 PM*

Bring your own picnic and enjoy our honesty bar with a selection of local wines and craft beers.

From 1-6 September, join our friend, the world-class guitarist Leon Michael King (UK), for some masterclasses and jam sessions in Sicily.
We met him when he performed with Joss Stone at our place in Zanzibar, and since then we've done lots of great projects together.

The video is from an impromptu evening jam during his last visit to Testa Dell'Acqua (Noto), where Meraki is based.
