Born in the Netherlands and based in the Lower Engadine (Switzerland), Marijn is an artist and visual visionary working across art and design to turn invisible value into tangible experience. Her work explores transformation through layers of light, color, energy, and concept.
Having lived and created in Amsterdam, New York, Kobe, and Zurich, she brings a global sensibility shaped by over 30 countries of study and travel. She is also an international speaker and guest lecturer.

As the KULA Dual Artist Residency starts tomorrow, the circle opens with Redina Qose; where threads of memory meet the pulse of the present. Her artist’s gaze turns observation into poetry, and social realities into intimate, layered narratives.

(b. 1996, Patos, Albania) lives and works in Tirana. Her practice moves between video, performance, and textile, reflecting on migration, identity, belief, and collective memory. Through conceptual and poetic storytelling, she transforms fragments of the everyday into spaces of reflection.
She has taken part in residencies in Poland, Austria, and Serbia, and is co-founder of Fora Magazine, an independent platform dedicated to culture and art.

KULA Residency is an intimate, research-based method developed by Ecumene Project, where two artists engage in a creative dialogue, offering their practices to be shaped and transformed through mutual exchange.
Originally initiated as an open call and virtual exhibition in 2020 inspired by the indigenous communities of the Trobriand Islands, KULA now returns as a dual artist residency program.

At its core lies a poetic ritual:
an initial offering
a response that reshapes it
a new artwork emerging from resonance

KULA Residency is a slow journey:
a shared rhythm of trust, presence, and the fertile risk of encounter.

Today, we’re excited to share more about the new home of ECDYSIS – a creative journey: Ca’ Colmello Countryhouse!

🏡 This unique site features two historic buildings, each with its own purpose and atmosphere. The countryhouse, a restored 1900s farmhouse, will be our shared home—where artists and our team will live together, sharing meals and ideas.

✨ Attached to it, the studio space, an open, light-filled environment, will host part of the workshop activities. With its expansive natural light and flexible layout, it becomes a setting for artistic research, movement, and collective exploration.

🌾 Surrounded by forests, rolling hills, and silence, Ca’ Colmello offers a rare opportunity to create in harmony with the landscape. Our program blends studio practice with moments in nature, making it the perfect environment for deep artistic immersion.
