The first weekend of FF26 hosts two exploratory and eclectic sets

Young Gaina takes an uncanny approach to electronic music, one shaped by sleepless hours and distant echoes of his dreams. Clarity within dissonance, poetry, and subtlety remain the pillars of his sonic universe, where fragile textures and precise structures coexist. Moving between edgy club oddities, introspective braindance, and poignant ambiance, his music embraces imperfection not as an error, but as a method of discovery.

Lena with her fluid, unpredictable approach to rhythm, tempo, and atmosphere. Proto-techno, industrial, EBM, post-punk, synthetic disco, outsider house, and other leftfield electronic forms melt together in an immersive listening experience, in a deeply curated sonic journey that often feels abstract, visceral, and deliberately unorthodox, yet remains highly dancefloor-oriented and emotionally charged.

Lorenzo Brilli is a drummer and percussionist active in jazz, improvisation, and experimental electronic music. His practice explores the relationship between acoustic gesture and electronic transformation: an investigation of rhythm, space, and the physical presence of sound.

He has performed at festivals and venues across Europe, the United States, and Asia, collaborating with leading artists in the jazz, contemporary, and experimental music scene. His latest solo project, “Vrihi”, was released in 2025 by the Dutch label Esc.rec. and is an exploration of rhythm and voice as forms of collective memory.

On Sunday, July 5th, immerse yourself in the shadow of the sacred woods of Monteluco.

Amsterdam trio Pittori Locali creates a sound connected to Italian minimalism and to the dark rhythms of jazz noir and trip-hop. Known for their immersive live performances, which unfold like a vivid, nocturnal narrative, the group features Till Hormann on alto saxophone, Zeno Poggioni on bass, and David Wilkie on electronic drums and live dub manipulations.
Their debut release on Paesaggi Records highlights their collaborative approach, featuring percussionist Niklas Wandt and flutist Cengiz Arslanpay.

You can reach the wood with us, joining the walk in collaboration with departing from the Meeting Point a 9AM.
Comfortable shoes and a water bottle are recommended, the route involves a slight uphill gradient.

Trained as a jazz drummer, Simon Popp wanders through a wide range of percussion instruments to build his expansive sonic palette. His musical curiosity resonates in his solo career and in his collaborative projects such as Fazer, 9ms, Poeji, and Polygonia & Simon Popp.
Light and darkness, organic and synthetic sounds coexists in his compositions, inviting the listener to an intense approach. In 2023, Popp received the “Advancement Award for Music” from the city of Munich, and in 2025 he was nominated for the German Jazz Prize.

Davide Mancini Zanchi, artista visivo di quest’edizione, presenterà la mostra “Cose piccole” a FF26. Forme e funzioni degli oggetti quotidiani vengono modificate attraverso sculture disfunzionali e dipinti dai soggetti misteriosi. Le opere esplorano una realtà alternativa per offrire un momento di sospensione dalla vita quotidiana. La mostra si articolerà in due sedi: il Meeting Point e Casa Menotti.

Dopo aver frequentato l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Urbino, dove è attualmente docente, nel 2014 è stato ospite della DENA Foundation per un progetto di residenza a Parigi. Ha presentato il proprio lavoro in diverse mostre personali e collettive presso la A+B Gallery di Brescia, la Otto Gallery di Bologna, il Centro Arti Visive Pescheria di Pesaro, la Fondazione Pastificio Cerere di Roma e presso Megadue a Bologna. Nel 2020 ha ottenuto un progetto di scambio culturale promosso dall’Italian Council in Uruguay, con una residenza a Montevideo. Nel 2022 è stato pubblicato “MONOCHROMO”, monografia a cura di Gabriele Tosi edita da Cura.books, che ripercorre il suo percorso artistico.

Forms and functions of everyday objects are altered through dysfunctional sculptures and paintings featuring mysterious subjects. The works explore an alternative reality, offering a moment of suspension from everyday life. The exhibition will unfold across two venues: the Meeting Point and Casa Menotti.

La ricreazione è una parola polisemantica che può indicare
un periodo di riposo dedicato ad attività rilassanti e piacevoli, la pausa scolastica, un’attività di gioco e spensieratezza ed una nuova creazione sulla base della precedente.

Gli artisti stessi, si dice, ricreano sempre la loro stessa opera.
Ricreano mantenendo la propria identità, il proprio stile, per paura di perdersi e perdere il contatto con la propria comunità di riferimento.

In un mondo in perenne crisi, sempre più frenetico, distratto e in guerra con se stessi e contro gli altri, vogliamo dare il giusto valore alla parola ricreazione: un valore positivo, ricreare per non lasciare morire.
Anche FuoriFestival ogni anno ricrea se stesso attraverso lo studio e il confronto con il contesto artistico, sociale e territoriale, dando vita a qualcosa di nuovo in grado di rigenerarci attraverso l’arte e le relazioni a cui essa stessa dà vita.

Ricreazione is a polysemous word that can refer to a period of rest dedicated to relaxing and enjoyable activities, a school break, an experience of playfulness and lightness, and a new creation built upon a previous one.

Artists themselves, it is said, are always recreating their own work. They recreate while maintaining their identity and style, for fear of losing themselves and their connection with their community.

In a world in constant crisis ever more frenetic, distracted, and at war both within and against other, we want to restore the true value of recreation: a positive one. To recreate is to prevent things from dying.

FuoriFestival, too, recreates itself each year through research and dialogue with the artistic, social, and local context, giving life to something new, something capable of regenerating us through art and the relationships it creates.
