Breakfast with Santa is an annual event to help all children enjoy the magic of the season and share with children whose Christmas could be bleak. Club.

This event is promoted by Redhill, Reigate and District Rotary.

If anyone was thinking of coming along to this year's Breakfast with Santa, please give me a ring on 07957-523962.
We run this event as a Community Event rather than a Fund Raieer, and having organised all the gifts we have for Santa to give out, we find we don't need to buy any more this year - which drastically affects the costs.

Santa will be coming to breakfast on Saturday, 23rd December. He would love to meet you and as soon as he knows you're coming he'll be looking for a special gift for you.

This event runs for a maximum of 30 guests and has been a popular event for 10 years now. Guests arrive shortly after 9am, have fun with Christmas Crafting and breakfast with Santa. After breakfast Santa reads a short story and then distributes gifts. All the family are welcome and the adults with be given tea/coffee as the children sit down for breakfast.

It's that time again ... we're ready to launch Breakfast with Santa in Redhill for 2022.

We will be at the Redhill Methodist Church's Hall in Gloucester Road again and hope this will be a good time for the children, family and friends. The event starts at 9.15am and finishes around 11am.

As costs soar everywhere we have unfortunately had to increase the cost to £10pp this year. Although the event is aimed at children of up to 10 years of age, older siblings are - of course - welcome and they will receive a small gift for helping their siblings with crafting.
During the morning adults will be given a free tea or coffee and biscuits.

It was so good to run the event in 2021 - although we were worried there might be a last-minute announcement that social gatherings would be banned again.

For the first time we planned two sessions this year - the first to be held on 18th December at the Woodhatch Community Centre and the second session on 23rd December at our 'home ground' of the Redhill Methodist Church.

There were one or two glitches at Woodhatch, but that was to be expected at a new venue and we have learned a few lessons, but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves - lots of 'makes' in crafting, a really good breakfast and a kindly and generous Santa - what more could you ask for!

Unfortunately the uncertainty of the possibility of social contact impinging on family gatherings at Christmas became stronger and at the last minute several guests pulled out of the Redhill event - leaving numbers too low to continue. All (but one) of the remaining expected guests received their gifts from Santa.

We had many younger guests this year - we hope you spread the word that you had fun and encourage your friends to attend with you in 2022. We look forward to seeing you all again, it makes our Christmas to see you all enjoying yourselves.

Welcome to Breakfast with Santa, Redhill for 2021. This year's event will be held again at The Redhill Methodist Church (Gloucester Road, RH1 1BP) on Thursday, 23rd December from 9.15 - 10.45am.

As usual, the activities are aimed at children 10 years or under, although all the family are welcome - older children can help with Crafting, Family and Carers also welcome.

When children first arrive, they prepare their personal bag in order to keep their 'makes' safe, then start to craft their own projects. At around 9.50 we move on to Breakfast with Santa and by 10.20 children wait expectantly for Santa to finish reading his story so that gifts can be distributed! There will be something for all the children, and older children who have been helping will receive a token gift. There will be tea/coffee and biscuits for other members of the family.

Breakfast with Santa 2020 was arranged as far as possible before the Covid-19 lockdown in March. The venue was booked and Santa had agreed to visit us again. With the lockdown came restrictions, so we have waited patiently and tried to plan the event around ever-changing social distancing rules - but we just can't get it right.

We therefore regret that this event has been cancelled this year. Everyone who helps with the event looks forward to it and we are all disappointed, but we will be back for 2021 and hope to see all our regular guests again.

We wish you all a very happy Christmas and trust that Santa will be able to still visit you individually

Apologies for this late post - we were hoping to be able to hold the event on Christmas Eve, and the group who had already booked that time would realise the date and cancel - but, that hasn't happened.

Breakfast with Santa 2019 will be held on Monday, 23rd December in the Hall at the Redhill Methodist Church. Early booking recommended.

Good fun for children, family and helpers - the morning starts at 9.00am with Christmas Crafting, is followed by breakfast, a Christmas story from Santa, then distribution of gifts. Event finishes 10.45am.

Tickets this year will be £9 - to reflect the quality of the gifts given. (This is a non-profit making event and last year we made a small loss: if your family includes a baby, a child over 10 or consists of more than 3 children - please text, there might be some cost adjustment).

Another year over. Once again, we all had a great time. The Christmas crafting was popular, the food well received and everyone seemed delighted by their gifts.

We look forward to seeing you all again next year. Good or bad, this will again be on Christmas Eve - it all depends on which day Christmas Day falls.

Thanks go to everyone who helped make the event a success - those who provided and helped with the crafts, those who manned the kitchen and helped set up and clear up the room, parents who bought their children and the children themselves whose excitement and happiness makes it all worth while.
