Meet Renato Casaro – The last movie painter.

Renato Casaro is one of the last great masters of cinematic illustration.

He started working in the 50s and was immediately known for his originality and talent. He had the gift of visually constructing a story, transforming intuition and feelings into posters that captured the very essence of a film.

Throughout his career, he collaborated with some of the greatest in cinema history: Bernardo Bertolucci, Sergio Leone, Francesco Rosi, Claude Lelouch, Dario Argento, David Lynch, Francis Ford Coppola, Giuseppe Tornatore, Luc Besson, Quentin Tarantino, and many more.
