After becoming a mum, she took a break from singing live with her band and dedicated herself to family and to her passion for baking. In 2013 she discovered cake design as the perfect way to express her hunger for creativity. Not having an artistic school background, she begins to search for every source of learning, spending night and and day on trying to improve her skills and what she discovers
to be a natural tendency for sculpting. Deeply passionate about every technique of sugar art, both in love with cartoon and realistc style, but most of all aimed to give a soul and heart to her pieces with her effort to make them get a life of their own. A complete devotion to modelling and a real obsession for details, she soon got the chance to be on several magazines, in international competitions, exhibitions, collaborations and to be teaching her biggest passion. ITA - Azzurra Cuomo, cake designer autodidatta. Nasce nel 1983 in Italia, da sempre affascinata da ogni forma d'arte. Dopo essere diventata una mamma, prende una pausa dalle esibizioni live in cui canta con la sua band e si dedica alla famiglia e alla sua passione per la pasticceria. Nel 2013 scopre il cake design come il modo perfetto per esprimere la sua fame di creatività. Non avendo un background scolastico artistico, comincia a cercare ogni fonte possibile di apprendimento, passando notte e giorno a cercare di migliorare le sue abilità e quella che scopre essere una tendenza naturale alla scultura. Profondamente appassionata di ogni tecnica della sugar art, innamorata dello stile cartoon quanto di quello realistico, ma soprattutto tesa a dare un'anima e un cuore ad ogni sua creazione sforzandosi di farli vivere di vita propria. Una completa devozione al modelling e una vera e propria ossessione per i dettagli, ha ben presto avuto la possibilità di essere presente su numerosi giornali, nelle competizioni internazionali, mostre, e collaborazioni internazionali e di insegnare la sua più grande passione.
