Censorship has become a hot topic in the art world. This piece was created and later removed from a show I was part of after concerns that “Humpty Dumpty could be interpreted as trans or non-binary.”

It was a sad and disheartening experience. Art invites interpretation, conversation, and reflection. As artists, our voices matter, and it’s important that we continue to advocate for diversity, inclusion, allyship, and the values that make us stronger.
