IT.: La Principessa Mononoke torna la cinema, da oggi 4 Giugno fino al 10, in 4K! Ringrazio .it per la bella iniziativa e per avermi dato lo spunto per realizzare questo mio tributo ad un film che ha davvero significato tanto nella mia formazione artistica.

Mi rendo conto che si tratta di uno stile un po' diverso da quello che vi aspettate dal vostro fidato Zaebucca "Pocket" di quartiere, ma è sempre bello reinventarsi, aprire il canvas, allargare la tavolozza e lasciarsi andare alle sfide del medium.

This may be quite different from my usual "pocket" style you might expect from yours truly, but it's always such a great pleasure to go with the flow of pixel art as a medium, rather than style: a bigger canvas, a wider palette - the joy of detail and the challenge of it!

It's a little tradition of mine: new generation, old sprites!

Browt, Pombon and Gecqua - the brand new starters of Pokemon Winds and Pokemon Waves! I have to say that I really like this trio A LOT. So much potential, the three of them!

Happy 30th Anniversary to all Pokemon fans, from a place of memory and legends!

What if Pokemon Gold & Silver were lowpoly games?
Burned Tower, Falling Leaves - Pixel 3D is my attempt at giving an answer to this alternate storyline we didn't get to witness.

Based on my Ecruteak Redrawn from 2021, I made this lowpoly environment and animation with .org, .bsky.social and Blender!

I also wanted to celebrate the anniversary by composing “Spark, Ember, Dew” - a little musical fantasy on the Burned Tower theme from the original Pokemon Gold & Silver (from the incredible Junichi Masuda & S***a Kageyama.

“Passage” is a pixel font by the incredible somepx on itch!

As usual, and forever, this is entirely human made.

Description: The spark of creation laying dormant for aeons has now been rekindled. Although this form appears unstable, it is born out of perfect balance between spontaneous matter creation and annihilation. Within its reality-defying core lie infinite possible worlds, none destined to come true.

🎨 Something different than usual, I know! This fanmade giratina forme is a side project from my holiday vacations. I definitely want to experiment more with 3D and monster design - so much fun!
