La bellezza dell'inutile Martina Musìo was born in Rome (Italy) on July 28, 1998.

Her artistic training began in high school, at the Liceo Artistico Enzo
Rossi in Rome, where she studied Interior Furniture and Design. After graduating in 2017, in the same year, she enrolled at the Academy
of Fine Arts in Rome, obtaining a degree in Sculpture during the Academic
year 2019/2020. During the three years at the Academy, she was able to experiment with
different techniques and materi

als in the field of sculpture, from the
classical ones (casting of metals, processing of marble and semi-precious
stones, clay modeling and the different casting procedures) in search of
new forms of expression. Having won the scholarship as an Erasmus student, she will spend her third
and final year (2019/2020) at the Bauhaus Universitat in Weimar, where
she will have the opportunity, as well as to deepen her knowledge of
English and start studying German, to broaden the media spectrum for his
work and artistic process. In fact, in this last year, her artistic research has focused on the theme
of language, where, ranging between different expressive forms and letting
herself be influenced by the multiculturalism of the university and
city environment, she has come to collect the material presented in her
thesis "Composition and decomposition - Language survey ". The intentionality of the work that combines the three years of study at
the Academy of Fine Arts is in the process of investigation and research
as a method for overcoming structures, physical static forms and thought. This means that the image proposed through his works is in constant
motion, an "Opera Aperta" an "image epistemological "of reality.

Margaret’s lullaby is not only a personal comfort; it is also a political call for change. This means that we, as a human community, can and must act to address this important topic.
We need to think of communities capable of speaking to the inner child in all of us. Because many children around
the world are exposed to the violence of war and its long-term consequences, which should not be part of their childhood.

My only appeal is a request as a human community:
Protect the convention.
Cease the fire all over the world.

There are no words to express the emotion of this moment.

La parola ebraica Mizpah assume significati e simbologie differenti nelle narrazioni del popoloebraico. Una parola intraducibile proprio per la complessità che essa porta: una città, un patto, unpunto di osservazione, una promessa di pace, sono alcune delle sfumature che animano questaparola. Mizpah come luogo dell'antica Palestina in cui Labano e Giacobbe stringono una promessadi pace sotto lo sguardo di Dio.
Se si risale alla radici etimologiche della parola Mizpah, se ne ricavano tra le più importanti il verboSapa (צפה), coprire - in senso letterale o figurato, che tra gli sviluppi linguistici arriva a significarela speranza, o meglio il verbo sperare.Mizpah deriva anche da nomi come sippiya (צפיה) osservare, mispeh (מצפה) torre di controllo,sippuy (צפוי) placcatura, sapit (צפית) tappeto, coperta.
Ci sono molte città che prendono questo nome nel racconto della Genesi e i significati di questaparola hanno continuato a mutare fino all'epoca Vittoriana e nella Seconda Guerra Mondiale, doveessa assunse la forma di un gioiello, un ciondolo a forma di cuore diviso in due metà, diventandosimbolo di un legame indistruttibile tra due persone distanti.

Per questo progetto Mizpah diventa una richiesta di pace, l'aspirazione a trovare una soluzioneche porti a termine le atrocità esacerbate negli ultimi mesi ma che da anni continuano ad essereperpetrate. Il progetto prende forma con l'intento di unire in un intreccio vivo le trame colorate deitessuti palestinesi, simbolo di resilienza e identità, e la trama complessa di una parola ebraicaintraducibile ma capace di coprire, inteso come coinvolgere e attivare, gli elementi utili per farcessare questo massacro.
Attraverso la parola e il tessuto, Mizpah diventa una tavola da skate con cui muoversi nuovamentein una terra libera dalla guerra, una colonna su cui i bambini, le bambine, i ragazzi e le ragazzepalestinesi e israeliani possano giocare insieme.

Non seducono i romanzi,
né donata è la poesia a chi sa già.

Gli obiettivi lasciati così, senza un senso che li rivesta
o una mano che possa chiedere.

Le statue cadono per riposare, decorate dagli uccelli.
Gli inni, quelli che il più delle volte restano in fondo ai cortei,
invecchiano nel loro sonno, senza nulla promettere.

Non passa
né scade il tempo

nulla accade per farci credere
che siamo arrivati in questa terra!
