Il nostro progetto di lancio, Left 4 Dead – The Movie un mediometraggio di azione horror ispirato ad un videogame, è stato selezionato al Fan Film Awards di Los Angeles 2017 ed altri festival internazionali, è seguito sul web da più di un milione di persone ed è stato realizzato grazie alla passione, al coinvolgimento e alla cooperazione di professionisti di tutto il mondo. Il progetto attualmente in sviluppo, Experience-An Online Interactive Role Play Adventure, sostenuto dal Fondo della Creatività della Regione Lazio, punta a sfruttare le potenzialità del web e dei social network per creare nuove forme di narrazione e comunicazione, avvalendosi dei principi di Storytelling Transmediale e Gamification, dando vita ad un universo online pulsante di contenuti, attività e rewards.

Change is in the air! ⚡️

It seems that the name Mexican Standoff Studio, has been hitting some unexpected roadblocks with the platform's algorithms lately. It turns out that "Standoffs" are a bit too "rebel" for the AI to recommend us to new friends! 😅

Because I want this new course to reach as many people as possible, I am seriously considering a rebranding and renaming phase.

I love this identity, but I love the community and the future even more. So, we I to hear from YOU:

✅Should I keep the soul of the name but tweak it (e.g., MS Studio or The Standoff)?

✅Should we go for something completely fresh and new?

✅Do you have any cool suggestions for us?

We are truly sorry to announce that we are forced to cancel the Left 4 Dead The Movie 2 project.

2 months ago we announced our intention to work on a second film based on Left 4 Dead 2 with an announcement teaser. In order to really proceed with the setting up of this new, ambitious project, we needed the virality that characterized the first L4D movie.
In addition to securing a minimum budget to proceed with Pre-Production.

To do this, we created an official website, www.l4d2movie.com, where we explained the project and the necessary steps for its realization with transparency.

Unfortunately, despite an initial enthusiasm from those who saw and commented on the teaser, and whom we want to thank wholeheartedly, the announcement did not spread as we had hoped, and the donations we received can be counted on the fingers of one hand.

For this reason and to avoid embarking on an ambitious project again without the resources to carry it forward, we are forced to cancel the project.

Once again, we thank those who followed this story and those who donated to help us carry it forward.

We will refund the few donations received.

The website will remain online for information until June 21, 2024. See you soon with new content on our Youtube channel!
