The ‘ROAMERS’ is a ‘Band’ (EX CODA BAND) but also more. It’s a group of friends with one intent..to play, record, compose/ write, perform, tour, entertain and promote their own music and covers of other bands .
THE ROAMERS are: Dave Sumners- lead guitar: Richard Sherwood-rhythm acoustic and vocals: Alessandro Saba-bass and vocals: Derek Wilson- Drums and percussion
We have all, professionally, toured, recorded, composed, been contracted by Record and Publishing companies, RCA, SONY, EMI, CBS, CGD, and others, and most member have performed in more than one continent worldwide. Primarily members live in Roma, Italy (For this reason the Band has changed it’s name to ‘The ROAMERS’)and have often performed in the ‘Eternal city’ and generally all over Italy Some members have played or toured or been members with world-famous ‘Bands’ or Artists, such as The Rolling Stones, East of Eden,Level 42,Howard Jones,Camel,John Prine, Guy Clark,Mickey Clark, Ronnie McCoury, Keith Emmerson, Rick Wakeman, Jason Carter,Tom Gribbin, Venditti, Zucchero, Cico Miceli, Cameleonti, Primitives, Lucio Battisti,Pierangelo Bertoli, Renato Zero, De Gregori, Patty Pravo,Gianna Nannini, John Renbourne, Kenny Everett, and many others.
The music performed comes from a vast and varied repertoire containing songs, also ‘Original’, of many genres...Most members have performed on ‘Big’ stages or Stadiums but also in small venues and are happy to play anywhere where ‘Music’ is performed. Many individual albums have been published by the afore-said companies including music and songs by the various members of the ‘Roamers’ and can be acquired by contacting us.
