M.A.S. Stands for magazzini allo statuto.
An old low-cost clothes shop in via dello statuto.
It became renown in roman HH movement after roman rapper and producer “er Piotta” shoot his “dimme qual’è er nome” videoclip inside the shop.
It seems the building will become a fashion university as “accademia del costume e moda” is planning to loan the building to transform it into a new hub for stylist and fashion designers.
From a place for the poor, to a place for rich kids.
Another bit of the city eaten by gentrification.
