🌍 SABIR is much more than a show.
It’s a meeting.
A meeting of languages, faces, stories, accents.

Actors and actresses from different countries come together on the same stage
to tell what unites us, even when everything seems to divide us.

🎭 It’s theatre that speaks all the languages of the heart.
🎶 It’s music that crosses borders.
🧭 It’s a collective journey — alive, urgent.

The second artistic residency of The SABIR Project carried out with the support of the European Festivals Association (EFA) as part of the European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists - EFFEA took place within the framework of Wonder Impro Festival, the first **Feminist Theatrical Improvisation Festival** in Europe.

🎭 Sabir is a collective founded in 2016 by 15 theatrical improvisers from 9 Mediterranean countries: Italy 🇮🇹, Turkey 🇹🇷, Malta 🇲🇹, Spain 🇪🇸, Algeria 🇩🇿, France 🇫🇷, Greece 🇬🇷, Tunisia 🇹🇳.

Sabir promotes dialogue between peoples on social and political issues through the Art of Theatrical Improvisation: each performer speaks their own language on stage… yet they all understand each other deeply. Because true listening happens beyond words!

La seconda residenza artistica di The SABIR Project realizzata con il contributo della European Festivals Association (EFA) nell’ambito dello European Festival Fund for Emerging Artista - EFFEA è in corso nell’ambito del primo Festival di Improvvisazione Teatrale femminista d’Europa Wonder Impro Festival.

Sabir promuove il dialogo tra i popoli su temi sociali e politici attraverso l’Arte dell’Improvvisazione Teatrale: ognuno, in scena, parla la sua lingua…ma tutti si comprendono profondamente…perché il vero ascolto è quello che attiviamo oltre le parole!
