At the time when the anti-war rock opera Dolomitenfront was being created and produced as a rock film and a live show (2016 and 2018), some people, or most of the people, were thinking or saying, that war and the stories on the war, art that tackles war issues was a bit outdated, even boring... At least that was how people from film, TV industry, and cultural institutions thought.... It hasn't been too long, since their feelings and views turned out completely wrong, outdated and full of nonsense! What do we have here? What is going on in the middle of Europe, Middle East, with the overshadowing of the world war? What are the horrors thousands of people are experiencing daily and others following from minute to minute? And, of course, let's not forget the BIG Lie and Venom syringe for our health and veins, that is still cropping the victims! The war is over, passe', outdated!? Really?
So here, unfortunately, though timely, "Dolomitenfront" rock opera, it's engaging music, performance, imagery and theme is coming fully back on the scene! It has never gone away, it was just sitting there in the angle for when the ears may become more open and inner eyes more attentive to the real war going on in the back of the scenes of the visible reality. A war where the destiny of humanity is at stake and where a personal choice, even to the point of self-sacrifice for the sake of others, becomes not a film theme but our everyday reality and question of conscience! So the NEWS!

DOLOMITENFRONT VIDEO ALBUM is a series of 8, recently edited videos, taken from the original work: “Dolomitenfront Rock Musical Film”, recorded and produced in 2015/16. Whereas the film comprises singing parts as well, this video-album is meant to be purely instrumental. In any case, the music performance of the band (with the roles of soldiers in the story of the film) was recorded live on the set, during the film shooting, and later on, just mixed and post produced as a film soundtrack.

DOLOMITENFRONT is a Rock Musical Film and a rock opera. It is an outcry against all wars, raising the question of metaphysical evil.
It is a production feat for Shaking Foundations Multimedia, an independent live shows and film production company from Berlin and Rome. The film was written, composed and produced by Rob Setti and Ana Vukovojac, directed by Sara Maino. It was produced and shot in the Italian Alps/Dolomites in Val di Fiemme (Trentino), in an Austro-Hungarian military fort at 1800m. Rock music is at the heart of the film. Originally composed songs were performed and recorded live on set, like a real Rock concert.
