🇮🇹 Se vi trovate a Bruxelles, non potete non visitare l’Atomium. La struttura è stata costruita in occasione dell’Expo Universale del 1958 e raffigura i 9 atomi di un cristallo di ferro. Nasce come struttura temporanea di soli 6 mesi, mentre oggi è considerato il monumento simbolo della città 🥇.
: le sfere sono collegate da scale mobili e ascensori ed è presente un ristorante nella parte più alta da cui ammirare l’intera città. 🌇

🇬🇧 If you are in Brussel, you have to visit the Atomium. It was constructed for the EXPO 1958 and represents the nine spheres of an iron crystal. The Atomium was born as temporary structure, but now it is the symbolic monument of the city 🥇.
: spheres are connected through escalator and lift and there is a restaurant in the highest part where you can admire a beautiful panorama over Brussels. 🌇

🇮🇹 The Old Library situata all’interno della più antica e famosa università dell’Irlanda, il Trinity College, è stata scelta per registrare alcune scene del film di Harry Potter.
All’interno è possibile ammirare l’arpa, uno dei simboli più conosciuti dell’Irlanda, raffigurata nelle monete dell’euro.. ma anche conosciuta come logo della famosissima Guinness. 🍻

🇬🇧 The Old Library is located inside the oldest and the most famous University of Ireland: the Trinity College. It was choosen to shoot some scenes of Harry Potter movie.
Inside The Old Library we can admire the harp, one of the symbols of Ireland. Indeed, it is represented in the Euro coins and.. it is known as the logo of Guinness 🍻.

🇮🇹 Troppe sono le curiosità da raccontare sul Bacco di Caravaggio.. un’opera di grande fascino e mistero!
Come il mistero che avvolge l’identità del soggetto raffigurato.. c’è chi pensa sia un autoritratto dello stesso Caravaggio, chi dice che sia Mario Minniti, amico e forse compagno del pittore.. o ancora chi pensa sia il Cristo.
Una cosa ci sembra abbastanza certa.. sembra che il dipinto ci stia offrendo del vino 🍷😎.

One of misteries concerns the identity of character. There are those who think it is a selfportrait of Caravaggio.. others think he is Mario Minniti, a friend and maybe the partner of the artist. While others think he is Christ.
But we are sure about a thing.. it looks like the character offers us a glass of wine 🍷😎.

Sembra che i personaggi prendono vita nel quadro.

🇮🇹 Oggi vogliamo proporvi una delle numerose statue presenti all’interno dei Musei Vaticani. Ma cosa ha di particolare questo dorso senza testa? 🧐🧐
Questa statua è stata definita dal genio di Michelangelo come “la statua migliore presente in tutto il museo”. Si racconta infatti che venne presa come riferimento dall’artista per dipingere il Cristo Giudice☝🏻nel Giudizio Universale.

Galleria delle Carte Geografiche - Musei Vaticani ✝️

🇮🇹 All’interno delle mura vaticane c’è una fantastica sala dedicata alle mappe delle 20 Regioni Italiane. Le proporzioni non sono precise, ma risalgono a 500 anni fa. Possiamo definire questo straordinario patrimonio come un Google Maps antico 🌍🧐.

🇬🇧 Inside the Vatican Walls there is a wonderful room in which the maps of Italian regions are depicted. The proportions are not accurate, but they go back 500 years.

Non tutti gli artisti raggiungono la fama dopo la morte.
Emile Martin Charles Schwabe, conosciuto come Carlos ne è l'esempio!
Iniziò la sua carriera disegando carta da parati ma presto una sua opera (Le campane 🔔 della sera - guarda le stories) venne notata e da lì iniziò la sua ascesa. Prima come illustratore 🖌 per opere di letterati del calibro di Émile Zola e Charles Baudelaire 📚, poi ricevette la medaglia d’oro 🥇 all'Esposizione universale di Parigi, espose con successo presso la Società Nazionale delle Belle Arti e venne insignito 🎖 del titolo di Cavaliere della Legion d'Onore.
La sua attività proseguì con l’esposizione di una serie di acquerelli 🎨 presso il Salon d'Automne dove continuò a ricevere critiche incoraggianti. 🗞
L'artista è considerato uno dei precursori dell'art nouveau e a nostro parere le sue opere sono molto attraenti. 🤩

🇬🇧 Not all artists achieve fame after death.
Emile Martin Charles Schwabe, known as Carlos is the best example!
He began his career drawing wallpaper but early one of his works (The bells 🔔 of the evening - let’s see the stories) was noticed and from there began his ascent.
First as an illustrator 🖌 for works by famous writers like Émile Zola and Charles Baudelaire, he received the gold medal 🥇 at the Paris Universal Exposition, successfully exhibited at the National Society of Fine Arts and was awarded 🎖 the title of Cavaliere of Legion of Honor.
His activity continued with the exhibition of a series of watercolors 🎨 at the Salon d'Automne where he continues to receive encouraging criticism. 🗞
The artist is considered one of the precursors of the art nouveau and in our opinion his works are very attractive and exciting. 🤩
