Vent Rouge is a choral song that combines theatre, visual art, dance and music inspired by the female poetry. ‘Red Wind’ is a metaphor representing feminine energy that transcends time and culture. The two authors and performers, Giovanna Zanchetta and Chiara Ferlito, become the medium for a collective narrative, blending their languages in an organic and primordial flow, accompanied by the musical compositions of Afra Pieri. There are no fixed roles, just a fluid interchange, like the wind that gives the project its name, evoking feminine sensitivity, fickle, passionate, capable of digging deep furrows. A fragile balance between chaos and control, between the urge to shout and the modesty of whispering.
