As possibilidades advindas da impressão 3D são um mundo a ser explorado!
O hospital geral de Kathmandu se depara hoje com uma grande limitação de recursos dado ao enorme fluxo de pacientes afetados pelo terremoto no pais.
O Fanti´s 3D Lab, em colaboração com o Field Ready produziu um conector para um nebulizador (inalador), através de um desafio de design (http://www.fieldready.org/ #!nebuliser/q5dh8). O equipamento havia sido doado ao hospital mas as condições locais não permitem consertar um pequeno conector de ar quebrado.
Em algumas horas nós modelamos a peça, enviamos o arquivo, e o pessoal do Field Ready a imprimiu por lá, pronta para consertar o equipamento.

The possibilities generated by 3D printing represent a new world to explore!
The General Hospital in Kathmandu faces challenges due to increased influx of patients affected by Nepal's recent earthquake and its aftermath.
Fanti's 3D lab, in collaboration with Field Ready, designed a connector for a nebulizer, submitted through a design challenge (http://www.fieldready.org/ #!nebuliser/q5dh8). The equipment, essential for patients with lungs issues of all kinds, had been donated but local conditions did not allow to fix a simple air connector.
In a few hours we modeled the piece, sent the file, and were mesmerized to see Field Ready colleagues printing it in the other side of the globe!
