"La lezione", directed by Stefano Mordini, is a psychological thriller that explores the darker side of power relations, amidst tension, manipulation, and control.

For the film, produced by Picomedia and Vision Distribution, we oversaw various VFX and post-production projects: beauty, set graphics, and full CG assets, from the reconstruction of the Barcolana to the creation of a fully 3D Vespa.

In this reel, the team behind "Io Non Ti Lascio Solo" walks us through the process of creating two fully CG dogs. They discuss the technical challenges they faced, their pursuit of realism, how the dogs were integrated into the story, and the memorable anecdotes from the making of the project, showcasing the unique experience involved.

There are stories where the best work is the one that goes unnoticed. In “Io non ti lascio solo”, we created two dogs entirely in CGI, building them from the ground up with one goal in mind: to make them blend seamlessly into the film's reality, making them invisible to the viewer.

This was both a technical and emotional challenge, serving an intense and delicate narrative where courage is expressed through the eyes of a child and the strength of a pure, authentic bond.

We are both happy and proud to have contributed to this visual and emotional journey.

Ci sono storie in cui il lavoro migliore è quello che non si vede.

Per “Io non ti lascio solo” abbiamo dato vita a due cani in full CG, costruiti da zero e curati in ogni dettaglio, con un unico obiettivo: renderli invisibili agli occhi dello spettatore, perfettamente integrati nella realtà del film.

Fare cinema significa costruire mondi e dare loro consistenza, ogni elemento ha un ruolo preciso nella narrazione e contribuisce all’equilibrio complessivo.

Asset 3D, simulazioni, creature, crowd ed environment sono parti diverse che devono dialogare tra loro con coerenza, perché nel nostro lavoro la credibilità non è un semplice dettaglio, ma una vera responsabilità.
