A system designed to catalogue spaces — and perhaps people. In Cappelletti’s shots, something resists. No faces in the images, only traces — and the silent resistance of inhabiting what was never meant to be inhabited.

While the photographs portray the ISOBOX, the gallery serves as a shelter for some homeless people and, for this reason, the lights are programmed to turn off during the night. The question of housing, at the heart of the project, becomes concrete and unresolved here.
