HELENA HLADILOVÁ's "Battuto" is a permanent installation created during the third edition of the Conterranei artistic residency, conceived specifically for the small borgo of Castello di Cireglio in Pistoia.

"For this work the artist took inspiration from a collection of short stories written by the people of the village and she adapted one of them into a bas-relief, using local materials."
