Pair of pendant lamps Luigi Brusotti

Light becomes part of the design. The transparent circular glass diffuser seems to disappear into space, while the ivory lacquered aluminum element surrounding the bulb casts a delicate floral pattern, transforming illumination into decoration with remarkable simplicity.

Scaletta Bar Luigi Caccia Dominioni

A composition of pure volumes, where function is concealed within a precise architectural rhythm. Closed, the cabinet appears as a sculptural monolith; opened, it reveals an unexpectedly generous interior, transforming through movement rather than ornament.

Designed by Luigi Caccia Dominioni for Azucena, the Scaletta Bar reflects his distinctive ability to combine geometric clarity with refined craftsmanship, where every proportion serves both utility and elegance.

An encounter between permanence and gesture.

Gianfranco Frattini’s 503 sideboard for Bernini distills architecture into furniture: proportion, rhythm, and construction reduced to their essential form. Resting upon it, Agostino by Michele De Lucchi introduces a contemporary intervention conceived exclusively for Volumnia, where Venetian glass becomes both memory and presence.

Separated by more than half a century, these two works do not seek contrast. Instead, they reveal how Italian design continues to evolve through continuity rather than repetition.
