Today concludes the 10th edition of the CAMS General Assembly.
It has been a busy and incredibly rewarding October for the entire Oiko team! This time, together with Adria Congrex , we worked hard behind the scenes to bring this event to life, managing the logistics, setup, material supply, and providing on-site support.
Set against the beautiful and historic setting of Athens, the event was divided into sessions, meetings, and workshops across stunning venues:
The Academy of Athens: Hosted the morning CAMS User Workshop and the afternoon Atmosphere User Forum in its wonderful main hall. A special thank you to our morning partners: the National Observatory of Athens (NOA), the Hellenic Space Center of the Ministry of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence, GEO Planetek GR, and Geosystems Hellas.
Institut français de Grèce: Hosted the two-day plenary sessions, welcoming inspiring speakers and leaders, including Laurence Rouil, Director of CAMS.
The working sessions were interspersed with guided tours and social activities, including visits to the Byzantine Museum, a lovely time at the Acropolis Museum Restaurant, and traditional Greek dancing at the “Dora Stratou” Theatre.
A massive thank you at ECMWF and to everyone who contributed to the success of this event. It provided a fantastic setting for new meetings, meaningful connections, and so much more.
