I went to a nearby store in my street to buy something when my eyes landed on one of our products.

Yes, Dangote Sugar!

I smiled and told the woman selling it, “Please, display more of this. I’m only seeing three sachets here. Put like 50 sachets...

So when people see it, they will come for it, because we need to be selling out our products as fast as possible. After all, we have the best.”

The woman smiled and said, “I will display more.”

Okay!

Then I asked her, “How much do you sell the sugar?”

She said, “₦600.”

I looked around the shop and saw other sugars of the same size and under the same gram.

I noticed that our own was fuller than all the others.

So I asked her, “How much are you selling the others?”

She said, “All these sizes are ₦600.”

I said, “No! We need to hold a stock meeting. Ours cannot be sold for ₦600...

Just look at it nah... Our own is fuller. Why is our company selling it for ₦600? It should be at least ₦1,000. We need to make more gains from our products.”

The woman looked at me in shock and said, “Ah! You should be praying that they remove money, not that they add money!”

I said, “No, no, you don’t understand. I know what I’m saying.”

The woman was just looking at me.

I continued, “We’ll be holding a meeting about it, so the price can be increased. We need to make much more gain now.”

Then the woman said, “You have been saying ‘we,’ ‘our product,’ ‘our company.’ Do you work with Dangote?”

Lol!

Mama dey ask whether I dey work with Dangote.

She no know say, she is talking to a shareholder in Dangote Group. 😣😂

Nearly 20 years after his death, the body of Ugandan musician Paul Job Kafeero was dug up from the grave for DNA testing to determine which of the 25 children he had were biologically his.

The legendary Ugandan musician died in 2007 at the age of 36.

For nearly 20 years, his 25 children and their mothers fought over his multi-billion Ugandan shilling estate, including land, houses, and music royalties.

The long standing dispute eventually led the court to order that his body be dug up and his bone and tissue samples were collected for DNA tests.

1st June 2026, it was dug up for test and 25th June 2026, the results were released.

Only 4 out of his 25 children were confirmed to be his biological children. The other 21 children were not his.
