Questa mattina abbiamo avuto il piacere di accogliere qui in cantina il gruppo della W**e Scholar Guild, in visita in Piemonte insieme a David Way, w**e writer ed esperto della nostra regione.

Un incontro dedicato alla scoperta del territorio, della nostra storia e del nostro modo di interpretare le Langhe, attraverso la visita alla cantina e la degustazione dei nostri vini🍷

Siamo felici di aver potuto condividere un pezzo della nostra realtà con un gruppo di appassionati e professionisti del vino provenienti da tutto il mondo.

Grazie alla WSG e a David Way per essere passati a trovarci e per aver scelto Francone tra le tappe del loro percorso alla scoperta del Piemonte 🍇

This morning, we had the pleasure of welcoming the W**e Scholar Guild group to Cantina Francone, visiting Piedmont together with David Way, w**e writer and expert on our region.

A wonderful opportunity to discover our territory, our history and our way of interpreting the Langhe, through a visit to our w**ery and a tasting of our w**es🍷

We are delighted to have shared a piece of our world with a group of w**e enthusiasts and professionals from all over the world.

📍Vigna Gallina — Barbaresco Gallina 2026.

Un nome che si porta dietro una storia importante: quello di Gallina è il cru storico di Neive, tra i più pregiati delle Langhe, segnato fin dai tempi antichi come una delle zone più vocate per il Nebbiolo.

Vendemmiare qui non è come vendemmiare ovunque: ogni pianta continua una tradizione che va avanti da generazioni.

A name that carries an important history: Gallina is Neive's historic cru, among the most prized in the Langhe, recognized since ancient times as one of the areas best suited to Nebbiolo.

Harvesting here is different: every vine carries forward a tradition that spans generations.

Grappoli bellissimi quest'anno: succosi, zuccherini, pieni di sole.

Piccola curiosità: si dice "il" Barbera o "la" Barbera?
In Piemonte è quasi una questione di identità: al maschile si intende il vitigno, al femminile il vino.
Ma c'è chi giura che "la" Barbera sia femmina a tutti gli effetti!

🍇 Vendemmia del Nebbiolo 2026, per il nostro Langhe Nebbiolo I Patriarchi!

Lo sapevate che il Nebbiolo è una delle uve più antiche d'Italia? Le prime tracce scritte risalgono al 1200, e c'è una storia curiosa: nel 1272 il Re d'Inghilterra Edoardo I ricevette in dono una bottiglia di vino da Alba, ottenuta proprio da questo vitigno.

Un'uva che affascina i palati reali da oltre 750 anni, e che noi continuiamo a coltivare con la stessa passione di allora 👑🍷

Did you know Nebbiolo is one of Italy's oldest grape varieties? Written records date back to the 1200s, and there's a curious story: in 1272, King Edward I of England received a bottle of w**e from Alba as a gift, made from this very grape.

Signore e signori, la vendemmia è ufficialmente iniziata 🚜

E ad aprire le danze è proprio lui: lo Chardonnay!

Dalle prime cassette raccolte tra i filari di Neive al suo arrivo in cantina, comincia il viaggio che, con un po’ di pazienza, lo porterà a trasformarsi in Langhe Chardonnay 'Dellerose' 💐

Giornate intense, mani al lavoro, profumo di uva nell’aria e quella sensazione che… sì, è finalmente vendemmia!

Che abbia inizio la nuova annata 2026 di Cantina Francone🥂

Ladies and gentlemen, harvest has officially begun 🚜

And opening the dance is none other than Chardonnay!

From the first crates picked among the vines in Neive to their arrival at the w**ery, the journey begins — and with a little patience, these grapes will become Langhe Chardonnay “Dellerose" 💐

Intense days, hands at work, the scent of grapes in the air and that feeling that… yes, harvest is finally here!

La seconda e terza tappa del nostro tour estivo in Svizzera sono state al Ristorante Am Charrewaeg di Illnau.
In due serate abbiamo incontrato più di 200 persone! 🤩 Vecchi amici che hanno anche viaggiato molto per stare con noi e tanti nuovi incontri, tra ricette ispirate al Piemonte e i nostri vini di Langa e Roero, con Barbaresco e Barolo protagonisti.
Grazie alla famiglia Kuhn per farci sentire come a casa nella loro splendida fattoria! ❤️🥂🍷

The second and third stops of our summer tour in Switzerland were at the Am Charrewaeg Restaurant in Illnau.

In two evenings we met more than 200 people! 🤩 Old friends who have also travelled a lot to be with us and many new encounters, including recipes inspired by Piedmont and our w**es from Langa and Roero, with Barbaresco and Barolo as protagonists..

Thanks to the Kuhn family for making us feel at home in their beautiful farm!❤️🍷🥂
