XENIA Inclusiveness Index was born out of a dream: to create a tool for Universities to measure and improve the level of inclusion of LGBT+ students, staff and academic personnel so that they can be lived as beautiful, safe and inclusive places.

XENIA is an amazing and rewarding challenge to make an inclusive and a world-changing IT tool to make universities more inclusive and well connected to their communities.

Thanks to a consortium of experts and committed people from Univesity of Naples SInAPSi (Services for Active and Participated Inclusion of Students), University College of Dublin, University of Barcelona, Ozara Slovenia, Antinoo Arcigay Napoli, Hellenic Open University and Internet Web Solutions the dream is becoming a reality.

The 9th December 2022 the International Conference "Processes of Inclusion, valorization of differences and contrast against discriminations within University contexts: Normative methods, theoritical perspectives and good pratices to redefine the Academic system", organised by the SInAPSi in the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II (Naples) will represent the final venture achieved within the European three-year Project “XENIA: He Inclusiveness Index”.

Barcelona, 29 and 30 March 2022

🎓🇪🇺 On January 15, 2020 began the wonderful journey of Xenia He Inclusiveness Index, a three-year Erasmus + project that aims to measure the level of inclusion of women and LGBT+ people within the university context. Xenia is made of people who every day are committed by putting head and heart in the search for a tool that can ensure that everyone can live peacefully academic life, at any level of the organization, so that the University does not become a place for a few but a safe place where everyone can be respected and protected. At the head of this revolutionary path is the University Center SInAPSi, leader of a consortium, competent and motivated, composed of organizations from 5 European countries.
The project is about to end, but the journey of Xenia Index is unstoppable and we will follow it to the ends of the world 🏳️‍🌈✈️🌍

XENIA: He Inclusiveness Index

The three-years project XENIA: He Inclusiveness Index, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission, Key Action 3.

XENIA is implemented by a Consortium of 7 Partners from 5 European countries (Italy, Ireland, Slovenia, Greece and Spain). Xenia will develop an innovative and integrated tool that will support European higher education institutions -HEIs- in evaluating the actual level of inclusiveness of their environment and in identifying any efforts that can be placed to best address the needs of sexual and gender marginalized groups and ensure the protection of their fundamental rights and academic opportunities.
