PAINTING COURSE IN ITALY

The Selva dei Colli Art Retreat is a one week intensive painting course in the near environment of the guesthouse Selva dei Colli – a picturesque, secluded place in the Italian countryside 15 minutes from the Adriatic Sea. The course develops the participants' basic skills and encourages individual expression. Within the themes of the course participants are also acquaint

ed with the surrounding natural and cultural milieu. The course offers prepared canvas, acrylics and basic equipment. Any additional material is optional and participants can bring it with them or buy it at the local art equipment store. Our caterers proudly present the local kitchen through regional specialities you would only otherwise come across in an Abruzzean home. For other meals the apartments in the guesthouse have well equipped kitchens and there are restaurants at walking distance. The town Giulianova lies 7 km away. A direct bus connects from the airport in Rome, and a ride to and from nearby bus stations can be arranged by the organizers. There is parking space by the guesthouse. www.selvadeicolli.com

Our Story

The Selva dei Colli Art Retreat offers facilities, materials and guidance for creative work at the guesthouse Selva dei Colli – a secluded spot in the Italian countryside, located between the Gran Sasso mountain top and the Adriatic Sea.

No prior experience is required. Under guidance by artist and art educator Elisabeth Mladenov, participants’ basic skills are developed and individual expression encouraged. Guests are also acquainted with the surrounding natural and cultural milieu. We offers prepared canvas, acrylics and basic equipment – additional material can be brought along or bought at the local art store in the nearby seaside town Giulianova.
