Il legame tra il cavallo e il cavaliere / amazzone 🏇

Ci sono dipinti in cui il cavallo è protagonista assoluto. E altri in cui tutto prende vita nel legame silenzioso tra animale e cavaliere.

Due modi diversi di raccontare un’emozione. Due modi diversi di parlare dell’anima.

Nei ritratti con cavalieri e amazzoni non dipingo soltanto un soggetto. Cerco di catturare complicità, fiducia, sguardi, ricordi e quella connessione invisibile che esiste solo tra loro. Perché chi vive davvero il mondo dei cavalli sa che non è semplice passione. È presenza. È appartenenza. È qualcosa che lascia un segno profondo dentro.

Ogni pennellata diventa il tentativo di fermare nel tempo un legame unico e irripetibile. Ed è questo che amo di più della mia arte: dare forma a emozioni che spesso le parole non riescono a spiegare 🎨🤍

The bond between horse and rider 🏇

There are paintings in which the horse is the absolute protagonist. And others in which everything comes to life in the silent bond between animal and rider.

Two different ways of expressing an emotion. Two different ways of speaking about the soul.

In my portraits of riders and amazons, I don't just paint a subject. I try to capture complicity, trust, glances, memories, and that invisible connection that exists only between them. Because those who truly experience the world of horses know that it's not just passion. It's presence. It's belonging. It's something that leaves a deep mark.

Every brushstroke becomes an attempt to capture a unique and unrepeatable bond in time. And that's what I love most about my art: giving shape to emotions that words often can't explain 🎨🤍

Gli occhi, lo specchio dell'anima 🐎👀

Nei cavalli questo è ancora più vero. C’è qualcosa nel loro sguardo che va oltre la forma, oltre il colore, oltre la materia. È una presenza silenziosa ma potente, capace di raccontare emozioni profonde senza bisogno di parole ✨

Quando dipingo, non cerco solo di rappresentare un cavallo. Cerco di entrare in quello sguardo, di ascoltarlo. Ogni pennellata, ogni scelta di colore nasce da lì: dal tentativo di far emergere ciò che non si vede, ma si percepisce. Per me, un dipinto è riuscito solo quando riesce a restituire quell’anima. Quando gli occhi sulla tela non sono semplicemente dipinti… ma vivi 🐴

The eyes, the mirror of the soul 🐎👀

This is even more true with horses. There's something in their gaze that goes beyond form, beyond color, beyond matter. It's a silent yet powerful presence, capable of expressing profound emotions without words. ✨

When I paint, I don't just try to represent a horse. I try to enter into that gaze, to listen to it. Every brushstroke, every color choice comes from there: from the attempt to bring out what can't be seen, but can be felt. For me, a painting is successful only when it manages to convey that soul. When the eyes on the canvas aren't simply painted... but alive. 🐴

5 dipinti di cavalli dal mantello sauro 🐎

Il sauro ha qualcosa di diretto. Non chiede attenzione: se la prende. È un mantello che vive di luce, che cambia a ogni passo, che può essere fuoco o velluto, ma non è mai neutro. C’è un antico detto arabo: se vedi un cavallo volare, stai certo che è sauro. Forse è anche per questo che è il mio preferito.
Perché non si nasconde, arriva. O forse perché sono saura anche io! 👩‍🦰

Quando lavoro su questi soggetti seguo proprio quella vibrazione, quella presenza che senti prima ancora di metterla a fuoco.

5 paintings of chestnut horses 🐎

There's something direct about chestnut. Don't ask for attention: it takes it. It's a cloak that thrives on light, that changes with every step, that can be fiery or velvet, but is never neutral. There's an ancient Arabic saying: if you see a horse fly, you can be sure it's chestnut. Maybe that's also why it's my favorite.
Because it doesn't hide, it arrives. Or maybe because I'm a chestnut too! 👩‍🦰

When I work on these subjects, I follow that vibration, that presence you feel before you even focus on it.
