This years MV Most Creative Award went to for her outstanding entry in Historical Master ... fornher braver and creative message. Congratulations, Gabi!

The MV Most Creative Award has a long tradition since over 15 years now and gets handed out usually on shows were the MV Team is present. It stands for Innovation, Impact, Creativity and Bravery. This year in Monte it was really amazing to see so many creative entries and it was not easy to pick our winner!

Hi all,

we are considering hosting Jakob Skovgaard Villien for his Oil painting on Miniatures class in Germany - near Frankfurt. Ideally this August. In order to gauge Interest, I set up a doodle.

Please enter only if you are really interested and intend on making it. Final cost is to be determined and partially depending on the cost of the location for the class. I do expect it to be somewhere in the range of 250-280€ partially because the material is somewhat expensive.

Jakob Skovgaard Villien will bring brushes paints, prepainted miniatures, pallets and everything needed to paint and finish the model.

The Diver will be the class model!

So, I am still writing reviews for books and stuff with long winding summaries etc. But I wonder increasingly if that is at all necessary. It takes some additional work to reading and I wonder if anyone can actually derive use from it. For my personal use I usually just summarize the interesting points and takeaways, concepts and ideas I liked and so on. I wonder if just that plus a simple rating Recommended Read - Highly, Sure, if you*re interested and nope, a short notice on what audience might profit and if I consider revisiting the book would be better suited?

Congratulations again, Gabi and looking forward to seeing you all next year at this new German show (and lots of shows this year)! It was a pleasure to be here and admire the arts and craft of so many people from over 12 countries!
