🌊🎶✨Alla fine del festival, tante persone hanno fatto la stessa domanda a Mauro Minenna, a Salvo McGraffio, alle nostre volontarie e a tutto il team:
“Dove trovate l’energia per fare tutto questo?”
La verità è che quell’energia non la creiamo noi.
Viene da voi. 💙
Viene da ogni ukulelista che ha attraversato città, paesi e continenti per essere qui.
Viene da ogni cittadino monopolitano che si è fermato ad ascoltare, ha sorriso, cantato, ballato, aiutato, accolto e condiviso questi giorni con noi.
Viene da ogni abbraccio, da ogni jam session, da ogni chiacchierata, da ogni risata e da ogni amicizia nata quasi per caso.
L’energia che mettiamo nel Monopolele è semplicemente l’energia che questa straordinaria comunità ci restituisce.
Queste sono le vere UkuWaves.🌊❤️
Non solo onde di musica, ma onde di gentilezza, amicizia, entusiasmo e connessione umana che attraversano il mondo e, per qualche giorno, si incontrano qui, a Monopoli.
Grazie per aver reso possibile tutto questo ancora una volta.
Grazie per aver creduto in questo sogno un po’ f***e.
Grazie per averci ricordato perché abbiamo iniziato questa avventura.
Porteremo queste UkuWaves con noi ancora a lungo, molto dopo che l’ultima nota si sarà spenta.
E speriamo davvero che, da qualche parte lungo il cammino, queste onde possano riportarci tutti qui, insieme.
Che queste UkuWaves ci riportino insieme nel 2027 non possiamo ancora saperlo. Ma lo speriamo con tutto il cuore. ❤️🌊🎶
🇬🇧 As the festival comes to an end, many people have asked Mauro, McGraffio, our volunteers, and the whole team the same question:
“Where do you find the energy to do all this?”
The truth is that we don’t create that energy ourselves.
It comes from you.💙
It comes from every ukulele player who travelled across cities, countries and continents to be here.
It comes from every citizen of Monopoli who stopped, listened, smiled, sang, danced, helped, welcomed and shared these days with us.
It comes from every hug, every jam session, every conversation, every laugh and every unexpected friendship.
The energy we put into Monopolele is simply the energy that comes back to us from this extraordinary community.
These are the real UkuWaves.🌊❤️
Not just waves of music, but waves of kindness, friendship, enthusiasm and human connection that travel across the world and somehow meet here, in Monopoli.
Thank you for making this happen once again.
Thank you for believing in this crazy dream.
Thank you for reminding us why we started all this in the first place.
We will carry these UkuWaves with us long after the last note has faded.
And we sincerely hope that somewhere down the road, those waves will bring us all together again.
Whether these UkuWaves bring us back together in 2027, we cannot know yet. But we truly hope they will. ❤️🌊🎶
