Its dedication to gemstone scientific research is an important foundation to their expertise and reliability in testing.

SSEF is a non-profit Swiss foundation whose aim it is to further the science of gemstone testing and gemmological training. We are one of the leading gem labs in the world and have scientifically tested many of the world's most prestigious gemstones.

Bella e importante carta geografica dell’intero territorio del Friuli di Henricus Hondius e J. Jansson (firma in basso a sinistra) pubblicata ad Amsterdam nel 1639 con testo francese al verso. Arricchita da due raffinati cartigli con il titolo e la scala delle distanze.

Bellissima carta geografica del Friuli, tratta dal celebre Italia Sclavonia et Greciae Tabula Geographicae di Gerard Mercator pubblicato a Duisburg nel 1589 con testo francese al verso. Decorativa e raffinata coloritura coeva.

Ένα από τα πλέον συγκλονιστικά εκθέματα του Μουσείου της Αρχαίας Ολυμπίας με μεγάλη ιστορική σημασία, είναι το χάλκινο κορινθιακό κράνος του Μιλτιάδη. Μετά τη μάχη του Μαραθώνα (-490) ο μεγάλος αθηναίος στρατηγός αφιέρωσε το κράνος του στο Ιερό του Διός, για να τον ευχαριστήσει για τη νίκη. Ενδεχομένως πρόκειται για το κράνος που είχε χρησιμοποιήσει στη νικηφόρα μάχη. Στην αριστερή παραγναθίδα φέρει εγχάρακτη επιγραφή του αναθέτη: ΜΙΛΤΙΑΔΕΣ ΑΝΕ[θ]ΕΚΕΝ [Τ]ΟΙ ΔΙΙ μεταφρ: Ο Μιλτιάδης αφιέρωσε στον Δία.
