The final event of VIBE project is approaching.
The exhibition was held in three prestigious location, Santa Maria della Scala - Siena (Italy), The Glucksman - Cork (Ireland) and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb (Croatia), attracting over 75 thousand visitors in the 9 months of opening.

These and other results will be presented in Milan on Thursday 18 July at the Giovanni Testori Auditorium, Piazza Città di Lombardia

News from Zagreb!
This activity for children is one of the accompanyng actions of the accessible exhibition of Josef and Anni Albers works developed with Vibe project

[RADIONICA TAKTILNOG CRTEŽA]
MSU, subota, 23. 2. 2019. od 15 do 16.30 sati
Subotnju radionicu 23.2. organiziramo u okviru izložbe „Josef i Anni Albers – Putovanje kroz slijepo iskustvo“. Svrha radionice je senzibilizirati javnost za osobe s oštećenjem vida na području likovnog stvaralaštva. Polaznici će se upoznati s pristupom likovne kulture slijepim osobama kroz kratko predavanje, nakon čega slijedi radionica posvećena taktilnom crtežu.
Crtež slijepih osoba je potpuno drugačiji od videćih osoba. Slijepa osoba nema poimanje perspektive, skraćenja, ona svijet doživljava isključivo zvukom i opipom pa su i crteži puno drugačiji. Ujedno zbog načina pisanja na stroju i pisma koje se zasniva na točkama nemaju razvijenu grafomotoriku, te je način gradnje crteža prilagođen njihovim sposobnostima. Polaznici radionice imat će priliku upoznati taktilan crtež i taktilan način razmišljanja slijepih osoba u gradnji crteža te složiti crtež od gotovih elemenata – točaka, ravnih i zakrivljenih crta izrađenih od magneta na metalnoj ploči zatvorenih očiju. Tehniku crtanja gotovim elementima crteža izrađenih od tvrđeg papira koristit ćemo i kao zanimljivu tehniku u gradnji crteža otvorenih očiju.

Okupljanje je na recepciji MSU-a , 23. 2. 2019. u 15:00 sati.
Radionica je prilagođena djeci od 1 do 4 razreda osnovne škole.

Our mission is to elaborate a reproductable contemporary art exhibition for both blind and seeing visitors. We are working on this project since 2016 and now the results of our experimental method are on view at the MSU Zagreb until April.
Original works by Josef and Anni Albers from the The Josef and Anni Albers Foundation reproductable models made by the Institute for the Blind of Milan, a dark sensorial corridor, hi tech audioguide made by Tooteko , originals touchable paintings and much more!

The third step of the exhibition has begun in Zagreb (January 10th - April 21st 2019).

Tomorrow there will be the opening of the exhibition about Josef and Anni Albers at the MSU in Zagreb.
Here some pictures from the permanent collection, formed during a period of half a century at the cultural border between the East and the West.
The museum is a lively place of creation, representation, interpretation and preservation of all forms of contemporary art.
